Re: Looking for help to rush the QB

I'm sure I will turn out wrong about this, but I'd prefer to see what Martin can do over rolling the dice on Ngakoue again. But I also think Walker is going to have a better year than he did last year too.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love a better 3rd DE, but I don't think Ngakoue is it.

I'm really happy to see Scott getting some press. I had high hopes for him when he was drafted, but I think he and Fields had a hard time getting on the same page.

Moore, Allen, JJ should be locks.

Others that could/should make the list are TJ Edwards, Kmet, maybe Tev...maybe Byard.

I very much hope he holds out, and when they do finally pay him, that contract becomes an unbearable albatross.

Re: Looking for help to rush the QB

It's still being reported that the Bears want to continue moving Walker inside on obvious passing downs. When they do then obviously they'll need someone else on the edge. At present that means Robinson or Booker. On paper that looks very thin. It's always possible Robinson will take a leap in his ...

Decent signing for this time of year. If I had to guess, they are probably going to use him more like a 3rd corner.

Rumor is that it was fentanyl overdose, which if true is infuriating. To die so young is abhorrent enough, but fentanyl is a scourge. Easily the deadliest addiction in my lifetime. It absolutely is the worst and most deadly substance to ever enter the human ecosystem. If it was peacefully, I'm assu...

https://x.com/jacobinfante24/status/1811391480424010057?s=46&t=GSZ9BZca-EfU9rmQO04ivw Regarding Greene, he was a good run defender which is what we hang our hat on defensively. Booker won’t match that in the run game, it’s not a relevant replacement as they fill very different roles. Also, you’...

I had some company show up for the eclipse last minute and had to feed them, so I threw a couple racks of spare ribs on the smoker at 300 for 1.5 hours before turning it down to 190 for 25-30 minutes to try and get some more smoke on them. Internal temp was ~172 when I pulled them off and because t...

He's still rehabbing from his December ACL tear. Initially they thought he wasn't going to be ready to start the season, but his agent (Rosenhaus I think) recently came out and said he expects him to be in someone's camp.

Lovie was the most overrated coach in Bears history. I do not think he ever won a challenge, was absolutely brutal on them. He played an extemely passive defensive style that was masked by the team pouring all it's resources into the defense. He was a players coach that guilted the players into pla...
