I’d pass on Trey, he’s approaching 30.
I’d love to see the Giants go QB!

Re: Bears New Stadium Nonsense Repository
The team is expected to generate its $2 billion contribution to the project by selling naming rights to the new stadium, selling a far more expensive version of the personal seat licenses that bankrolled the renovation of the existing Soldier Field, and by opening a stadium sportsbook and tapping a...

Re: Bears New Stadium Nonsense Repository
The presser was impressive (outside of the prayer)…but even then, not a huge deal to me but I get it. As far as the stadium, I think it looks amazing. People just like to complain while as fans, we should be pumped. I get the parking to an extent, but look around some other cities. Minnesota for ins...

Re: My Guy for the 2024 Draft
I watched a lot Byron Murphy today…I’m warming up. Guys strength and leverage is unreal and will translate to the next level…His short area speed for a guy his size reminds me of Suh.
I like him…would prefer to trade down but if they think he’s a star, do it

I do…I love Pearsal, I just think we see WRs fall a little in large part because of the depth of the class.

Re: My Guy for the 2024 Draft
Couple 1st round guys Caleb Williams- I was one of the first here saying I thought this kid would be great so I’m counting him as my guy lol Nabors- Explosive and I think he ends up better then MHJ Jared Verse- Speed and power, work ethics, passion for the game…I think he’s going to be an 8-12 sack ...

We have last years starter who was better in a backup role back in a backup role..Why would we trade him? By adding Swift we upgraded RB1 and RB2…I don’t see the need to move Herbert

Murphy doesn’t play with the same explosion that his combine numbers indicate he should..Similar to Rome IMO. Both good players, but not at 9.

I actually agree with G08, I don’t see anything special. I think he’s going to be a good player, but I don’t see the twitch that a player of his size needs.

Re: Jer’zhan Newton
Great input..started watching and reading some stuff on him.
I’ve seen a lot of drafts having him go after 25…I see a much better player on tape. Aaron Donald, no. That said, he could be a poor man’s Donald and I’d be happy with that. Especially when you factor in what we can get in a trade down.

Jer’zhan Newton
I saw he had his pro day yesterday and Bears were in attendance. From the outside looking in, he looks like a perfect fit for our defense. 6-2, 300lbs of solid muscle, crazy twitch and explosion. That said, I have not really watched much on him. From the mocks I’ve seen, I’m seeing him go late 1, th...

Re: Is It Too Soon For Thoughts On Pick #9?
I like verse a lot, more so than Latu because he hasn’t medically retired from football recently. Plus I think you can trade down into the 12-15 range, get an extra bite or two, and still get him. The question becomes though, why is Verse the same age as Latu? Latu missed two years of football beca...

I like kicking Walker inside on passing downs…Walker provided nice leadership and depth across the entire line..Glad we have have. One guy we can’t overlook is Pickens…Everyone is talking about Dexters jump but I’m expecting Pickens to rise to a potential starter over the next couple years. One thin...

Re: Is It Too Soon For Thoughts On Pick #9?
Verse is 23, when he turns 24 other rookies will be 22..It matters, but how much might be exaggerated.
Also, look at his 2022 tape. If he came out last year he probably would have been a top 5 pick. Drafting him now, could be viewed as him being even more prepared to start and contribute immediately

I don’t hate Rome but I don’t see a guy that could one day be a top 5 WR. Re: Draft Prospects: WR
IMO, there’s Nabors and MHJ then everyone else. I think Rome, Conky, and others are getting overvalued in large part, because of the depth at WR in this years draft.
Don’t be shocked if really good WRs are on the board into the late 3rd …Pearsal, Conkey, and maybe even Coleman

I don’t think we would have to trade up with the Chargers…it would be the giants at 6 which would cost slightly less lol That said, if MHJ drops to Giants, can they pass on him. I’ve felt that those linking MHJ to Cards for 3 months now were jumping the gun…Now with the Vikings wanting to move up, t...

Re: Yogi da Bear's Picnic Basket (2024)
It’s a joke And people did actual post photos of Fields shirtless thinking Abs is what makes QBs. Latu is never going to "look" the part (and is always gonna struggle in the run game when you come right at him) - so what? His hand usage is elite. There is some T Suggs to his game IMHO So ...
