Re: Running Backs - where do we go
Jeanty would be a fire everyone pick at 10.
LOL! Even the new HC? Jeanty is the ONLY sure pick in the top 10. How many OL's and DL's picked at # 10 as "The next Big Thing " have flopped? I bet more the later than the former. I get how you feel ,but this is how I feel too.
How many sure ...

Re: Build the Lines
It always seemed to me that Poles and Flus wanted to draft Armegadjie because they played golf with his dad and they thought it was a cool story.
It's RAS and BPA, dude. They've imprisoned Poles' decision making. (Or maybe they always have, and he just gets lucky sometimes?)
He, most likely ...

Re: Build the Lines
Yeah you should never draft a 2nd round rated prospect at a premium position when he’s available later than anyone expected.
……without doing your homework
And if he’d done his homework he would have known the kid was injured and unlikely to get any off season practice.
And you should ...

Re: Build the Lines
Eh, sounds like you want to pound a square narrative into a round hole.
Should be easy for you to counter any of my points then……
You can only draft who is available.
Rarely do teams move off of and let great lineman get away in free agency.
On the flip side of this:
Poles 1. Found a ...

Re: Running Backs - where do we go
Great lines make average running backs look great. Bad lines make great running backs average and QBs terrible. Which do you want?
Look at the Super Bowl and what mahomes looked like because pretty much everyone not named Trey smith sucked.
I'm...not sure what you're getting at?
My point was ...

Re: Running Backs - where do we go
Personally, if we draft a running back in the first round, without trading down to pick up at least an extra 2nd, poles will be fired within two seasons.
If we draft anything besides offensive and/or defensive line with the first and second round picks it’s an epic mistake IMO.
Jeanty is a ...

Except all the stats in that article directly refute its a star thing, unless Andy dalton was a star qb or the hodge podge of Vikings QBs over the same 4 year spans getting more penalty’s or penalty yards called in their favor in the playoffs, often in half as many games.
