Re: Bears New Stadium Nonsense Repository

They are doing exactly what 99% of owners would do…Also, they’re doing exactly what you would do if you owned the Bears. You assume you know me. Bad assumption. The McCaskey's have been quoted as saying they were going to provide funding for the stadium and it turns out, they're just getting the fa...

Re: Bears New Stadium Nonsense Repository

The team is expected to generate its $2 billion contribution to the project by selling naming rights to the new stadium, selling a far more expensive version of the personal seat licenses that bankrolled the renovation of the existing Soldier Field, and by opening a stadium sportsbook and tapping a...

Agree....but the Bears have been the worst over the past 10-15 years. I mostly blame the GM's but the coaching hasn't been very good either.

What I do know is Alt will definitely be there at #1 and a QB will definitely be there at #9 (if you can't tell, I'm not very high on Caleb Williams). What's your beef with Williams? Well, full disclosure....I'm a Notre Dame fan. However, that's not the reason why I don't like him. 1) His stats are...

Re: Rd5, P173: WR Darnell Mooney, Tulane

The Bears don't have a legit LT and with the moves they've made this offseason, I would take Alt over one of these horribly over rated QB's to solidify the OL...but trading Fields basically made it impossible to trade either pick back now without taking a QB at either #1 or #9. They're taking a QB ...

Have any of you ever heard of Joe Alt? No, I never have. He's a football player, I take it? Is he any good? Surefire best LT in the draft and it's not even close. Fashanu from Penn State is pretty good but he's nowhere close to as good as Alt. The Bears don't have a legit LT and with the moves they...

Ginn is only a punt returner, no? So, that's not Patterson and I don't think Cohen would lose his duties there. I honestly don't think either should. They're both elite in that respect. Had Pace traded Leno for Williams (even player swap) and then had the draft he had, I wouldn't be complaining one bit. Same here. Difficult to grade a draft before any of them ever play.

Also, you have to factor in free agency moves prior to the draft and again, there’s really no way to grade any offseason move until they play.

I think the question I have is....

Are there any players out there, currently, on another team that you'd be willing to trade the 2021 and 2022 first rounders for?

Outside of Mahomes, I don't know if anyone out there would be worth two 1st rounders.
