Re: Fields to return kicks for Pittsburgh?
I remember Harbaugh covering punts when he came into the league. He was pretty good at it.

One of the best solos I have ever seen. I listen to some Prince, not much, but he was a bad mother.....shut your mouth.

I was just having this conversation with a Vikes fan. This division should be competitive as hell. Fun times ahead (hopefully).

Re: So, how do we address our last hole on the team?
Don't forget between now and the start of the season teams will be making cuts. Poles could find a serviceable DE from that. Eebz is going to have to be counted on to scheme sacks as well. He and the new D C have to find ways to get pressure. Expect some shootouts this year and have some confidence ...

Re: R1 P9: Rome Odunze, WR - Washington
So Fucking happy they made this pick. 2 blue chips in one draft, no way to pass that up. I kept hoping they were not trading out of the pick, especially with Rome sitting there. Kudos to Poles realizing he is coming out of this draft with two future offensive studs. People need to get on board with ...

Hey, his plane made it to Detroit so that is a good sign.
Just hope he doesn't do a Len Bias tonight after the draft.

Re: Memorabilia, Penmanship, and Tom Brady
You know, I really don't feel bad for those people. Why in the world would you pay that much $$ to see anyone talk and get "free" autographs?
Not a fan of autographs anyway. And if that is how he writes his name, whatcha gonna do?

Re: Bears New Stadium Nonsense Repository
Attended a game there, U of I. Leon ( for effs sake forgot his last name, Johnson) muffed a punt, right off his face mask. Hell, I was there but can't remember shit. Bears were up 3 scores and lost. Helluva time tailgating to watch them blow the game. Had to check, it was against the Saints. Bears b...

I agree UOK. Seems like they are trying to win over a section of the population they have never addressed before. Lets put clergy out front see who we can win over. Trashy at best. Pretty effing ridiculous on a whole new level.

No new taxes for Chicagoans. Maybe not property tax, school tax, road use tax, but that probably means there will be increased motel tax, theater tax, gas tax, amusement tax...........This will get more interesting over time. This better not affect me downstate. Shouldn't that total say $3.225 B, no...

Re: New Uniforms
I think plenty of NFL fans buy the "new guy" jersey every year as well. Hordes of peeps will be buying the Caleb Williams or the Keenan Allen jerseys. Have not bought a jersey in awhile and if and when I do it will probably be a PNut #33.

Re: Is It Too Soon For Thoughts On Pick #9?
I am going out on a limb here saying I don't think they will draft Alt. First, they don't really need a LT and Second Alt appears to be a finesse technician (much like last years ND favorite Peter Skoronski). I think Poles likes tough guys who don't count a man blocked until he is pancaked, and I d...

Re: 2024 Draft - How Many Picks?
I am saying 4. They take 2 studs in rd 1 because they can. They like the depth they have now and the other 2 picks are used on what they see as needs. Quantity does not always = quality.

Not a fan of caps that aren't in the team's colours. Even in team colors I don't think I'd be a fan of it. Not a fan of the straight bill. I like the unstructured hats better. I have a Bears hat that is maroon, get compliments on it all the time. I also have a camo one that I use when hunting.

Re: QB Zach Wilson traded to Denver
My nephew in the Denver area was pissed at this trade. He asked if he could change his alliance to the Bears. Told him he just needed to wait and see what is going to happen in both cities. He seems to forget, I guess he is only 30, the dreadful Bears history regarding QBs.

RIP Dickey Betts. Lucky enough to see him with the Allman Brothers in the mid to late 90s.

Re: NIL and Underclassmen in Draft
For bottom of the roster guys, I would take the older players who did the 5th year. They more than likely are more mature and are willing to bust their ass. I really don't think they consider they will have 1 or 2 less years to play.

I have listened to Whiskey Myers and like them. Hell, I would consider them country rock, southern rock. Chris Stapleton, that dude can do anything. He is all over the place, which is a good thing. Below, he is with Slash doing the Fleetwood Mac kickass "Oh Well." https://www.youtube.com/w...

Re: Spring/Summer Concerts
As a kid I was in to Johnny Cash. My parents had some of his music and we would watch his variety show on Sunday nights. New country? I give my daughter shit about it all the time. I tell her it isn't country. She says it is what country is today. I used to hate the twangy shit when young (except Ca...

Well, a first for me last night. Me, being the good husband I am, attend a concert last night of people I knew nothing about and had never heard any of the artists' music. My wife is a country music fan. Me, not so much. It was Ashley Cooke, Mitchell Tenpenny and Jordan Davis. I can say it was not t...

Wish I could say I was bothered by this, but I am not. Good riddance.
I still remember where I was and what I was doing when he was found not guilty. I was on a bus between buildings on the Anheuser Busch Tour in St Louis. When it was announced we all seemed to shrug our heads in disbelief.
