Re: Justin Fields Megathread - A story of Lovers and Haters

Seems to be some weird inconsistencies in regards to the value of Justin Fields ... those who want him traded seem to also put a high value on what the Bears might get for him ... so if he actually is talented enough to be worth that much, then why would he need to be traded?

Re: Free Talk // Open bar, we're not turning the lights off

FWIW—if we’re getting into hobbies…last summer, after living in the desert for a year and having awesome clear skies I bought a telescope. Today, I took the plunge and bought an even BIGGER telescope. I just moved up from a 6” Dobsonian to a 10. Anybody else looking skyward besides this sky nerd? P...

Re: Bad journalism and the failure to communicate

Exactly. Now we're inundated with daily articles about various INSIDERS or EXECS claiming that some event is going to happen. The funny thing is that if you give it a week, you'll find stories citing INSIDERS or EXECS that contradict the story from a week ago. It's so toxic and disgusting and the c...

Bad journalism and the failure to communicate

Since this has come up in several threads, I figured it might be nice to have a thread of its own. I took journalism in HS and College, and wrote articles for various school related publications, and it saddens me how modern day journalism has turned into a multi-colored turd. Not sure when it reall...

Re: What does trading the 1st round pick actually look like?

The question that I have is this. Do you have a better chance of getting to the playoffs and a Super Bowl with an above average QB and great skill players, or a great QB and above average skill players? Historically I think it's the latter. There have been great QB's that can't seem to lift their t...

Re: Build around Caleb scenarios

The main purpose of the draft example is to show that you can still collect decent picks by trading down ninth to the end of the first or beginning of the second round. There would be potential trade partners, even if the haul might be lower than in my example. I just want to counter the argument t...

Re: Bears hire former NFL safety Kerry Joseph as QB Coach

I have no problem with a former NFL safety becoming a QB coach ... who better on the defense watches the QB more than the safeties? he could very well end up a better teacher than a former QB as he has the knowledge of how QB's get suckered by defenses, and may be able to help our QB's have better ...

NFL Playoffs - Super Bowl 58

so disappointed the Lions flamed out ... I applaud Campbell and his aggressiveness, but there are times, ESPECIALLY in the playoffs, where kicking the field goal is the best option I thought the Ravens would be better than they were, but then again gotta give credit to the Chiefs for handling them, ...

if they were going to dump Flus I think they would have already done it ... and now they're trying some hybrid build by essentially splitting the team ...
