Bears get: RB Jonathan Taylor Colts get: 2024 second-round pick, 2024 third-rounder, WR Velus Jones Jr. Colts fans might not be thrilled at getting two Day Two picks in exchange for maybe the NFL's best pure runner when healthy. But as much as team owner Jim Irsay would like to sell Taylor as Chris...

@IE Unless if JF1 implodes this year there is no way Poles moves on. Expecting Allen and Hurts level production also implies he has a supporting cast on that level. That means the defense has to step up too. The opportunity cost of moving on from JF1 is staggering. 3 years lost plus the draft picks...

So I've gone through a bunch of video of his game against the Colts. What have we always screamed to the rafters about regarding some of our previous QB's. Throw with anticipation and timing. Five step drop? Know where you are going with the ball based on coverage, hit your back foot, and let the b...

Expected cost is too high, a couple of 2nds, maybe a 3rd and a 4th. Besides, who is excited to see what Roschon does this year along with Herbert? I'm not paying that price in 1,000 years. That's substantially more than it would've cost to draft Bijan Robinson this year. I'll take the RB by committ...

Re: Justin Fields Megathread - A story of Lovers and Haters

Remember when Shanahan and Lynch were smart? The decision of SF giving away that much draft capital to leapfrog the Bears to choose Trey Lance over Justin Fields will become stuff of NFL legend. Sort of like the Blazers taking Sam Bowie in 1984. In 2026 teams will be like, "Hey at least our GM...

Does it strike anybody else as odd that Tevin Jenkins goes down with a weird calf strain that's supposed to take up to six weeks to heal? What's up with that? That’s nonsensical and unrelated to the bigger point of not putting a franchise WR1 at unnecessary risk.

It'll be interesting to see how Eberflus' ball busting works over the course of the entire season. Amongst the more Analytics driven teams, there's a big movement to "practice smarter, not harder" and kind of the polar opposite of what we're seeing here in Chicago. The Rams were pretty ea...

Finally somebody in the media with a brain.

10-7 with a Wild Card including two wins over the Packers.

Then Poles reloads the gun with two firsts (including a Top 5 from Carolina) and a shit ton of cap room and we go to the Conference Finals in the 2024 season.
