LOL. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3LJ-0U0gys&ab_channel=AllThingsQB-HostedbyTimJenkins This is actually a really good video. Its complete satire as he admits but has also the truth. I think that's exactly what people see in Fields. He has amazing ability. He just needs to piece it together....

Re: The "I Hate My Job" Thread
My job has been dreadfully slow lately. Structural changes, leadership changes, work realignments...it's completely emptied my plate. I'm EXTREMELY grateful to not be on the chopping block given all of it, and it's nice to have a breather after being all gas no brakes for two years coming out of th...

Re: Justin Fields Megathread - A story of Lovers and Haters
Geno Smith was top 15 in mvp voting. A few spots behind Fields.
I hate doing this reasoning bullshit. I have high hopes for Fields. Hes by far from cemented. On paper this is a winning team. I think hes gonna have a good year. If he doesnt Poles has to look for another route.

Welp I hope the majority is right. It seems like rose colored glasses to me. I personally think Fields best ball maybe ahead of him. So is larence and hes got a more proven past. I think both could end up being super stars. But larence certainly is ahead right now.

Who wouldn't take larence over Fields? I have high expectations of Fields. At this point though 100% you take Larence. Dont let fandom blind common sense. It's okay to have hope, I do. Re: Board Sentiment on the OL?
The line is surely better. Probably across the board. If any player doesnt preform up to the believed ability however, and it's still a problem group. Examples, Jenkins gets hurt, Whitehar sucks, Davis is overrated. Wright is a rookie, Jones is a 2nd year player with some deficiencies. It's not like...

I actually have thought it has been a fairly mild summer here in WI. We went to long without rain but finally got a bunch last week. Next week is supposed to get up to 90s all week. I agree. I have sat outside more this summer than any I can remember. We had an early heatwave, then a drought, then ...

Everyone on the list makes sense. Realistically if you took each players output up to this point, I think Gibson is at the bottom of this group.
1- Cole Kmet
2- Jaylon Johnson
3- Darnell Mooney
4- Justin Jones
5- Trevis Gipson.

I grew up essentially in, and live in, cheese land. As a kid my parents gave no fucks about foosball. I moved around a bit from houston to many small places in Wi before moving to the farm i grew up on in elementary school. We got chicago channels on the TV. I made friends initially by being good (d...

Thursday night is bad football though. It's like beer, pizza, and sex - even when it's bad, it's still pretty good. 2 of those three are not good when bad dude. You may have to cleanse the palate. Hell even the third can be pretty not okay if it's bad. I'm a bit worried about you. https://www.bette...

Hey has anyone here ever chartered a boat for some deep see fishing in the keys? Going to Marathon next month and might want to go out for a day or at least a half-day. I'm going to look on line but thought I'd throw it out here too. Not on the keys but we did it off South Carolina last year. I use...

C.J. . He never played football and his home life was always turbulent. I'm pretty sure hes dead now. I've never seen someone throw a football better though. Him just fucking around he could with a flick of the wrist throw a laser, and throw it through the uprights from the 50. RIP. For the Bears Cu...

I think it's really hard to say that the RB group is an improvement on paper. I do think it really could be an improvement. However on paper right now I dont think it's safe to say it is.
Generally though the roster definitely seems improved at almost every spot.

Every year I do something like this. Generally I go with what ever trades are made (except the trubisky I chose Mahomes at 2.) I try to do it along with the draft, however some players the bears select intrigue me and I have to watch/read up on them. I like this draft but here's who I woulda picked....

Yeah unfortunately there will always be the carter talk.
Wright is a good player. I dont think anyone can complain. It's not a sexy pick. It fills a big need, and is a quality player.
