Re: Only 20 Prospects with R1 Grade
20 seems accurate. There are the QBs but generally it doesnt see like a very top end draft at several positions.

Re: DRs, Medicine and Insurance
Yeah the whole system is incredibly frustrating. I spoke to a doctor about PT referrals. To summarize his statement. Most people are non compliant with post and pre surgery rehab. So they almost always recommend PT to gauge compliance. (This is an extremely dumbed down summary) Unfortunately I can s...

Good bye to 2 players who had played at high levels during a period of time. The current state their play didnt match their salary. Both will be remembered in some facet.
I really liked both but its obviously time to cut the cord. Pace made it clear the teams position. Good job to him.

Re: Honest answers: Would you be more open-minded about Drake Maye if he wasn't #10 from North Carolina?
So I have watched a bunch of Drake Maye. I'm slowly going through the QBs. This kid has a ton of talent. He navigates the pocket really well. He moves coverage with pump fakes really well. He has a great arm and accuracy. Hes athletic. He does some wow things. Having watched a lot of draftable QBs h...

Re: Bad journalism and the failure to communicate
There many current faults with journalism. Many of them listed above. 1 that I haven't seen listed, is the replication of the same story buy multiple outlets with no fact checking of the original story. The easiest example I can think of is the fake celebrity death articles. More prevalent a few yea...

Re: New "QB support" stat being developed
I really like the idea. The problem with any stat is it is like your brother in law it will lie when he has to. Everything stat has to be taken as a gauge with your eyes evaluation. PFF stats. People hate on PFF. I think when you see a player, you gauge his play but its subjective. PFF can bring yo...

Re: For anyone who believes drafting Williams saves the Bears money
You know, both sides are arguing different things here. Williams can be cheaper then Fields and trading down can also give more overall savings. Both are true. Both shouldn't matter much because the Bears should be making the decision based on talent right now. Is Williams better than players x, y,...

Re: For anyone who believes drafting Williams saves the Bears money
QB is the best coverage for team talent. Great qbs make bad teams good. Bad qbs make great teams average.
Actually bad QBs make great teams bipolar. They can play well or bad. They can make the super bowl or have losing records.

100%.
I just started lightly watching the QBs. Maye is really good. His arm is pretty high level. Hes pretty good in the pocket. There is a lot of tools. Then I see his uniform and I begin questioning everything.

In the middle of cheese land last week both storms brought about 17". It got down to -15 per my car, though I think the weather channel said -10. It hasnt gotten much above 0. Todays been the warmest and we are at 7°. On Tuesday I think half the cars parked on the road needed a jump. Both mine ...

Re: Bear Digest: Why Trading Fields Makes Sense
#8 for Fields would be insanity. That being said... man, if there are no character concerns or any skeletons in the closet, it might be tough to pass on Caleb Williams and a 2nd for Fields... I go back and forth. On one hand you have Fields, who for all his flaws as a passer is arguably one of the ...

Re: Justin Fields Megathread - A story of Lovers and Haters
Well I do disagree. They video shows the guy breaking down the QB window. He says for 3 years. Without rewatching he says 3 years with a 16 million savings a year. I think the flaw is the 3 first round picks with a trade down. If Fields isnt elite then one of those 3 would be used on a QB anyway. T...

That's cool mmmc, was just trying to understand. I don't agree, probably because I'm much more of a team guy than a "QB is all" guy. What G08's post does is removes the financial component from the decision, it's completely irrelevant. Resetting the window doesn't provide any financial be...

So I think we saw some good from fields the last few games. Honestly though it's almost impossible to keep him. As a GM. You can in one off season reset the rookie QB window with whomever you want. Get some trade value off a QB who hasn't proven to be elite(no matter your thoughts he hasn't). Ypu h...

Re: Free Talk // Open bar, we're not turning the lights off
Harbaugh is roughly a four-year cycle. (It's a little different in college because players cycle through by its nature.) Anyone who hires him needs an off-ramp plan for that time frame. I don't know whether he has the patience to build something anymore, but it might be worth finding out — I'm conf...

Rookie played well. Hes started a couple of games.
Veteran is one of the best in the league about to enter the peak age frame for the position. Hes is in hiis first contract years.
No. No. Smith shouldnt even be on the radar of Johnson.
