Re: Caleb Williams News and Rumor thread

What turns people off about Williams is that he's not coming in with this "aw shucks, I'm just grateful to be drafted" attitude. He's treating it like a business, and he wants teams to show him why they should be in business together. He's not humble. He's wealthy and talented and isn't j...

Re: Caleb Williams News and Rumor thread

In recent history? Sure. Not sure how that matters, but ok. The rookie wage scale is there now and really minimizes any leverage he has, and I think all this weird stuff by him is just a bad look from a guy who is going to have to step into a locker room with grown ass men very soon who may not lik...

Re: 2024 NFL Free Agency chatter, there will be punch and pie

It kind of goes to show what other teams think of Fields, eech. Also, got a RB that I didn't care for on a rival team who took our running back to replace him, at less cost. Not a good day for me. Monty wanted to go, no regrets Monty was a Try Hard that never produced results. Now a fair counter po...

@The Marshall Plan Looks like Minshew is joining the Rayduhs. Ian Rapoport @RapSheet Sources: The #Raiders have agreed to terms with QB Gardner Minshew on a 2-year deal. He'll compete with QB Aidan O'Connell. He'll have a lot of fun in Vegas and will fit right in with that scene. The problem with t...

If Poles saw character issues with Jalen Carter, what in the blue heck do you think he sees with this? He’s got to be sniffing this out. Interestingly, the feelings of meatball fans that earnestly made arguments for building around a deeply flawed quarterback that literally nobody in the NFL values...

I have said since watch tape of Williams, and listening to him talk. I DON'T LIKE HIS ATTITUDE! I think he's an immature diva prick. I think he's reading a lot of his own press clippings, and I think he thinks he's better than everyone else. Players like that tend to get CRUSHED in the NFL. Because...

Re: 2024 NFL Free Agency chatter, there will be punch and pie

Well, what do you all think about D. Swift as the RB1 for next year? He hasn't been the most durable guy, seen that many carries until last season, but when you think of how he's different from Herbert and R. Johnson, I think the fit is pretty good. Definitely a 3 down back. I need to see the compl...

Re: Schefter: Bears pushing hard to sign RB D'Andre Swift

It would be good to know what the incremental expense would be to get a Barkley or Jacobs.

But this strategy with Swift makes sense.

We could also be planning a huge push for somebody else and need the extra funds.

I’m so meatball for a high level RB signing it’s insane.

Barkley, Jacobs or Henry I don’t care. I know the stable idea is better but dammit I want what I want.

In all seriousness if all I get is a high level DL FA I’ll be happy. Hoping for that.
