Re: Bears new coaching staff

There is a huge difference between Jay and "The anti-Christ" Brady. If Trestman is going to do anything for Jay or this team it will be making the small details the most important. Brady was in a car accident last year in March because some lady hit him on an icy road at 5:30am. Brady was...

Re: Bears Hire Tim Tibesar as LB Coach

So...about the LB coach. I don't think he was brought here to coach the cover-2. With Hoke the only holdover, it seems that we will eventually, if not gradually, be transitioning to a different defense. Especially with age and contracts creeping up on the defense.

Re: "Trestman is a Social Worker"

Cutler is either going to soak Trestman's knowledge and coaching up, or he's going to totally reject it. There won't be any middle ground with him I fear.

I hope he realizes that this couldbe his best and last shot at greatness. Or at least "really goodness".

It's basically the WWE...it's entertaining. People dig it, so he does it. He's got pyro and entrance music. He may as well be headed to the squared circle.

Re: Who is a realistic FA LT option?

There are a few reasons, but primarily it has to do with his pass blocking...because for his size, Webb isn't very strong in the power offense like we ran under Tice where he has to handle blockers one on one. And he can't hold up in pass pro in an Air-Coryell style offense either like we ran under ...

Re: Aaron Kromer New Offensive Coordinator/O-Line Coach

Not to mention the fact that we have other free agents to retain and a draft class to sign. The fact is, that Webb showed real promise as a RT in the 14 games he started as a rookie...in a West Coast style offense. Tice mistakenly thought that would translate into success as a LT in a power running ...

Cavanaugh isn't our OC. He's the QB coach. His importance to the success of this team is minimal at best. I don't remember 7 pages of Pep Hamilton rants when he was hired. I just don't understand what all of the fuss is about!?
