16 out of 23!!!!! I will take those odds about anytime.

Lets get this series wrapped up tonight, this shit has been stressful. Plus, I want to friggin shave!!!

TB plays well on the road and has proven in the last few series they have been in.

Thinking mighty hard of going to the Parade should they win the cup this year. Who knows when it may happen again.

I am feeling a 3-1 win tonight. I hate being confident in any team I root for, seems like a kiss of death. Feeling a Shaw, Kaner and Sharp goals. Thinking Conn Smythe is probably between Crow and Keith. If Crow can keep them to one goal tonight in a W, or a shutout, I think he could deserve it.

I wish I could say I was jumping up and down and celebrating and freaking out, but I've been at working having one of the worst nights of my life. I almost got fired. I'm happy they won the cup but I feel mostly like a piece of shit about work-related stuff that transpired, so I'm kind of distracted.

I'll pop an extra beer and send good thoughts your way that your shitty evening morphs into a fun and happy morning

Sucks UOK. We can call your boss and tell him to take it easy on you. Was a fun game to watch. It finished right before I had to leave for work. Wish I could have celebrated.

Awesome mutha f*cking game!!!!!!

Duncan is a man amongst boys. Damn what a great feeling!!!!

It is truly nice to root for a team that is a consistent winner. I didn't think they would do it this year. Mid season I just wanted them to win 1st rd series. The D came around at the right time and Crow kicked it up a notch after Nashville.

Seriously thinking about going to the parade, BUT, it is my son's 16th bday, so we will see what happens.

I may actually have to ditch my old school Blackhawks jerseys and pony up for a Duncan Keith

they simply never give up ... persistent and consistent

easy fix ... take your son with you to the parade, then take him to get laid after ... you get what you want and he gets a sweet 16

Good plan Boris, but the boy shot it down. What we do for our kids man. 16 is a special bday and we had already had some plans established. Just as a parade may never happen again, my son will not turn 16 again either.

Damn, no parade again.

Hell if that happens, the wife and my oldest will go, the odds of the parade happening on his bday next year would be pretty slim, I would think. If it happens, wtf is a 17th bday?

I am really sleep deprived today ... got home very late after celebrating with friends ... this work day doesn't seem like it is ever going to end

but hey - it was worth it

that second insurance goal was such a thing of beauty ... quick to the puck, great passing, and boom, Kane scores easily

I may watch the whole game over again, start to finish, when I get home tonight

thank you Blackhawks

and congratulations to a legitimate MVP :

Rocky Wirtz obviously was cut from a different cloth than old man Wirtz was and the results speak for themselves ... he made dramatic, and positive, changes to how the team operates and is reaping the rewards of those changes

I'm hoping we now see the same sort of team transformation with the Bears under George McCaskey, who seems to have much more on the ball than his idiot brother Mikey ever did (then again, any of our pets have more on the ball than Mikey ever did) ... sure looks promising now with the new GM and an actual Head Coach

HAWKS!!!! I was at a Blackhawks bar Monday night, and it was a ton of fun. The place went NUTS when Kaner scored. When time ended, everyone was spraying beer everywhere, the bartender was spraying Champagne over the crowd. It was a blast. I was certainly a little rough around the edges the next morning. I got a video of the last few seconds of the game, and the ensuing mayhem.
