I think the Freddy's experience in the league will help him out some. Floyd was just a dumb hire. He was/is strictly a college guy.
I am not sure Thibs can last anywhere longer than 5 yrs. Guy needs to start smoking some weed to mellow himself out. So friggin uptight all the time.

Look for it to be finalized in the next 24 hours. Fred left Ames on a private plane bound for Chicago earlier this afternoon.Keith Murphy @MurphyKeith
Source: I'm able to confirm @GoodmanESPN report that Fred Hoiberg told several ISU players and staff members that he's taking Bulls job.

Listening to radio and watching Chicago based sports, they seem to think this move was in the works for at least one year. They all commented on how current roster is not a Thibs style roster. they predicted more PT for McDermott, Mirotic and Snell.
I think to hire someone without interviewing others is just short sighted. I believe Forman and Pax think they have their patsy now. If Hoiberg doesn't work out, Reinsdorf has to clean house.

Hoiberg is definitely GarPax's last go. Reinsdorf is a weird owner. I'm actually excited as hell for when he leaves/dies (as much as one can be 'excited' for such a thing within the bounds of good taste). Bulls/Sox are just so...blah with him in charge.
