That's what I was thinking. GREAT role player, even BETTER person. Get well Sam.wab wrote:https://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/bears ... n-pectoral

If he can stay healthy, Lynch will be another brilliant signing by Pace.Z Bear wrote:For sure... but it is not like we are thin at his position. That Aaron Lynch signing looks a lot better now than it did during the preseason. Dude has been playing pretty dam good this year.

Bummer.
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

First I’ve heard this (he’s talking about the Vikings, so Ayers is mentioned in reference to them)...

If he keeps playing like he has, he may well not be in Chicago next year. He's only on a one-year $3.5m deal and will have earned a raise somewhere. Pace won't be able to pay everyone and will soon have some tough decisions to make. Maybe given his somewhat checkered career Lynch will prefer to stick around with Fangio rather than chase more money elsewhere... problem is, with the way this defense is playing, Fangio might not be here next year either. He might finally get that head coach shot.Bears Whiskey Nut wrote:If he can stay healthy, Lynch will be another brilliant signing by Pace.Z Bear wrote:For sure... but it is not like we are thin at his position. As for Acho, he's a guy that's easy to root for, but he's 30 years old and due $2.75m next year with only $250,000 in dead cap. Given his age and how far he's fallen down the depth chart after starting last year, he may have played his last game for the Bears.

Sucks for him - such a likable guy off the field. Looks like we might activate Irving or Fitts? Not sure.
