Too bad. Would have been a free for all if he’d been out.

It's Saturday, and I've got butterflies. I'm nervous that the Bears are going to come crashing back down to Earth tomorrow. As a Bears fan, I am conditioned to think this, and it sucks.

Tried to post my prediction in another post a few nights ago but had an error so not sure if it posted or not and don't feel like going through each page lol...

It will be interesting to see Gase VS Nagy... I hope Loggans looks as stupid as he did in Chicago.

Bears <31 - 13> Loggins
”Damn -- Khalil Mack had another strip sack?” Gruden asked rhetorically, shaking his head at the Oakland Raiders assistant coaches in his midst. “Are you ... kidding me?”

Whatever Loggains thinks he knows about Fangio won't compete with what Fangio knows about Gase and Loggains. Fangios the alpha in that little group and it won't be pretty. I'm excited to see how Nagy gets the team through the bye week. I think we'll be fine. What I really want to see is the offense "clicking" again and early. What if, and I know this is scary, but what if we can do that to all defenses? Maybe it was just the Bucs that got to see it happen live and in person. I watch Erin throw to wide ass open receivers game after game. Maybe we start to hit the wide open guys too. Our offense is loaded with playmakers and I think they're ready to eat now, not next year.

In years past I was nervous about bye weeks, but I think Nagy is so far ahead of our coaches the past decade that the team will be focused and prepared.

one thing i thought was interesting that Ive never heard from a bears coach before was that Nagy said going into the bye week that they would use the time to 'self-scout' and identify tendencies they had shown as playcallers in the first few weeks and adjust to keep opps on their toes.

Cerebral use of time that I think goes to show how far away from the trestman and fox eras this team is.

I think they use the running game more, which by itself tends to chew up clock and limit scoring...

I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

Loud rumors circulating that Tannehill is out of today’s game. Osweiler is their QB2.

That would explain the line moving to -5..

Brings back memories of the Lovie years and backup/rookie QBs having their way with our defense. Thankfully we have Vic..

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
37s

The #Dolphins will be without QB Ryan Tannehill. He’s officially inactive, so Brock Osweiler gets the start vs. the Bears.

I think if it was any other team, without Khalil Mack, Tannehill gives it a go. With our front 7, and their depleted OL, he's just asking to aggravate that injury even further.

Any concern that Osweiler is going to come out and sling the rock all over the field? He's been known to have hot games. Don't know what he's like under pressure though.

A little...Gase was his OC in Denver when he was drafted. He does know the offense

I remember the joy of us facing GB last year without Erin...and then look what happened....so...gotta have at least some worry

Changing prediction. No Tannehill or Wake?

Bears 30
Dolphins 10
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

Go back to leather helmets, NFL.

Trubisky needs to stop missing wide open guys. No bullshit excuses. When your receiver is wide f-ing open, f-ing hit him. Enough of this garbage.

And it would be nice if Brock Osweiler remembered that he sucked.

Bears look like shit. Miami effect as usual. Stupid penalties, no pass rush. Heat is getting to them.

The defense even looks like total garbage. Getting carved up by Osweiler and 90 year old frank gore.

Boy Trubisky looks like garbage today. Just straight garbage.

What’s really weird to me is it seems like they’re collapsing the pocket with 4 every play, and the Bears aren’t getting within a mile of Osweiler.
