From PFT:
Dr. James Andrews confirmed that Josh Allen does not need Tommy John surgery on his right elbow, Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports. The damage to Allen’s ulnar collateral ligament is not a full tear.

With rest and rehab, the Bills rookie quarterback should return in about a month, per Pelissero. Allen will miss at least the next two or three games.
Relevant because his expected return is the Bears game. Maybe they keep him out an extra week so that Derek Anderson takes the beating?

Too far away to predict, really. They may choose to shut him down if the season continues to melt down.

I honestly think they should. He's flashed enough to give them hope, but having him on the field hobbled might ruin him. He already gets hammered back there. Also kinda gives McDermott a reprieve.
