This is a trap game in all aspects. It's the textbook definition of trap game.

Bears overconfident going on the road preoccupied with Mack's health and Kyle Long's injury, divisional string of games coming up immediately afterward. Disaster is possible.

That said,

You know, I'm feeling the game will play out similarly to last week, at least offensively for the Bears. Bears D is going to feast on Nathan Peterman and I expect there will be multiple turnovers, but the offense will struggle to sustain drives. I think the D sets up the offense with great field position a few times and possibly grabs a TD of their own

This is definitely a trap game, but the Bills offensively are really, really bad. Their OC, in my opinion, is way over his head.

That being said, their defense is pretty damned good. They fly around... think of the young Lovie Smith Bears' defense that is still feeling themselves out. Their kid MIKE (Edmunds) can get sideline-to-sideline with the best of them but he continually is fooled by misdirection.... it would be imperative for Matt Nagy to exploit this. Don't go for the deep shots because their front 4 can get home and they will zone you out and make you pay for errant throws. Short, quick passing game, emphasize the run if you can and take your shots when you are sure you can protect MT10.

I've got the Bears winning this one, the Jets victory especially in the second half made me feel better about this team.

Edmunds is out, so you don't have to worry about him.

My main concern is that Peterman isn't in the game for long and they end up going with Terrelle Pryor after a series or two and he changes the dynamic of the game in an unexpected way. Barkley is their backup (I think; they literally just signed him today), but if the Bills throw caution to the wind and let Pryor take a crack at it, that could throw everybody for a loop.

That said, the Bills are a hot dumpster fire of a mess that doesn't have Edmunds or Allen. Their team's relatively gutted right now and they've got nothing to play for and are already at death's door for 2018. The Bears are close to being legit, and unless they play down to the Bills level for 4 quarters, I don't see how you lose.

Just a shit game. Bills D plays well enough to thwart Bears O enough for it to be frustrating.

Bears D going against shit QB, no matter who is back there, gets enough pressure, Peterman needs no pressure to throw ints, to make the Bills stay with the short passing game.

The game will suck, no one will impress, but it will be a Bears dub.

I think Bears are going to control the game from start to finish. Controlling the ball with the running game and play action. But give up a touchdown in garbage time.

The bills have a good defense that’s opportunistic and that’s it. Trupubebeardski will have to protect the football. It will be close going into the half but the bears will have control of the game. I feel they will come out of the half swinging and put some points up on the board. The defense will force a turnover and possibly score. I’m going to hold Nagy to his word, he said to Jordan Howard “that’s the way to run that rock, ok, I promise you I’m going to get you going, I promise you.”

With the bears schedule, they have to win these very winnable games. Going into a 3 game divisional stretch 5-3 would be huge.

Man.

I mean on paper this shouldn't even be a game. The Bills might be one of the 5 worst teams in the league right now and are starting a guy they've benched like 6 times already. I just don't know how they are going to move the ball. McCoy is their only real weapon.

I want the Bears to dominate this game the way they rightfully should.

Bills defense looks legit. The Pats offense was largely ineffective until the 3rd quarter and in the end only scored 18. Their offense, on the other hand... wow. The RBs and WRs are good but QB and oline are terrible. They're starting Vlad Ducasse and Jordan Mills? Ugh.

Bears offense will come out hot but will come back down to earth by the half. Unfortunately for the Bills, the 2 quick TD's given up on the first 2 drives will be enough to win the game for the beloved.

I love our team. I love our coach. I love our QB.

All that being said, I'll believe a dominant road win when I see it.

There's no way this should be a contest, but I thought this about GB, Arizona and Miami.

In a way it's the irresistible force of our bad road game play versus the immovable object of how bad the Bills are.

Ultimately we just have too many weapons on offense and it doesn't matter if Mack plays or not.

There's no easy wins in the NFL, let alone road wins. That said, I think the Bears put together a good showing (with a couple of mistakes to muddy the waters).

There are three games ahead of the Bears on the schedule that they NEED to win if they want to be considered contenders, and not pretenders. The Giants, the 49'ers and the Bills. They need to win all three of those games. The Bills have a decent defense and a miserable offense. Like horrible. It was bad under Anderson, and it has been worse under Peterman. The Bears should win this game handily.

You obviously didn’t watch Monday Night Football. They made the Patriots kick FG’s until deep into the 4th Quarter.

I still expect a win, but it ain’t going to be easy. No way they fold. They’re going to make it a dogfight.

Bears 21-10. Team still hasn't found itself again after that disastrous bye week. At the moment, they again look like the weakest team in their division, despite the fact that everybody else lost last week. Even though the Bills should be a gimme, the Bears will still have to struggle to finish 8-8.

I did watch MNF. The Bills have a good secondary, and that’s it. It was a good match-up for them, because the Pats have ZERO running game. A balanced attack will shred that defense.

A game that defines TRAP, but the Bears will win it. Bears O will struggle sometimes against this good D, and I fear they may get a pcik 6 off one of those forced throws Bisky makes (not griping I love the kid). It will be a learning game for them as an O. The D will feast....often. I predict Flyod and Smith have excellent days in the front 7 and the dbs are swatting balls down like flies.

I'll be at this game. Should be a good scrum. I expect to see the Bills on whomever they dredge up to be their emergency 3rd QB after Mack and Hicks completely destroys Peterman.
I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

As others have mentioned, this a trap game there is no doubt about it. How will the Bears respond? I think they pass this test with flying colors. For a young team with so many new pieces, this team has already dealt with so much. The Packers and Dolphins meltdowns were the type of games that leave the callouses Nagy so likes to reference. Young teams either fold, or learn and grow from these types of games and the Bears have clearly grown.

I have heard the Bears players and coaches use the terms "brothers" and "family" more and more which I absolutely love. This is the culture the Bears have been missing. It is time for this family to come together before our real season starts. The Bears have not proven they can handle business and dominate an inferior opponent on the road. This week that changes. This will be the Bucs game but with no bye week to kill momentum.

Let's be real here. The Bills are not an elite defense. They are above average, maybe a little better than that even. But not elite. Their offense is pathetic. I've heard their receivers are solid, but I honestly couldn't name one. I am sure McCoy is still a good back, but he is getting older at this point I'd have to assume. The oline is a joke and i've only heard Peterman's name a handful of times, never complimentary.

We are Bears fans. We've seen that type of teams story many times. We've seen how that story plays out when a strong, physical team comes into town. It is a story that rarely ends well. The Bills ending shall be no different.

Bears win in dominating fashion

Usually, when a friend who's a fan of a team tells me that his team sucks and we should roll right over them we usually lose... My friend has been a fan of the Bills for 60 years and actually bet against the Bills this weekend lol. The good thing is he's won a lot of bets this year...

The bills either look decent or terrible it could be a trap game but I just don't see it happening.

The Bills defense is good. They have only given up 2 pass plays over 30 yards this season. So they don't give up big plays. They went on the road and shut out Minnesota's offense. This won't be as easy of a game as everyone might think. Ultimately, I think the Bears defense wins this one because the Bills offense is so bad and their QB's are extremely terrible.
