Mack is just a cool dude. He will never be that guy that thinks the world revolves around him because, not only is he an NFL player, but possibly a Top 5 player in the league. I hope he retires a Bear. He is a beast, a rare talent, and an amazingly well grounded human being. He is the epitome of the leader that you want in your locker room.

I was listening to Josh Lucas (Director of Player Personnel) and he was raving about what a good person and leader Khalil Mack is. He said that he truly is a multiplier and that when your best player is your hardest worker, the rest of the team has no other choice than to work as hard as he does.
Dude was a fucking home run acquisition.

Yep, glad they pulled the trigger. Doesn't bother me at all what they gave up. IMO he is this year's and next year's #1 and we got Oak's 2nd rder. Good deal for the Bears.

On the surface I was like wow... two first round picks and more?Otis Day wrote:Yep, glad they pulled the trigger. Doesn't bother me at all what they gave up. IMO he is this year's and next year's #1 and we got Oak's 2nd rder. Good deal for the Bears.
But, really, what needs does this roster have right now (God-willing everyone stays healthy)?

I always got the vibe that Ginny was a pretty religious person... Mack is a preacher's kid... kind of makes sense they'd see eye to eye.

I love this dude. I was skeptical when the Bears nabbed him (strictly based on rumored compensation) but he has absolutely been as advertised and worth every bit of draft capital and money the Bears had to give up.

I know I gave you a hard time about it.wab wrote:I love this dude. I was skeptical when the Bears nabbed him (strictly based on rumored compensation) but he has absolutely been as advertised and worth every bit of draft capital and money the Bears had to give up.
The more we get to know Khalil Mack, the more you just become dumbstruck as to WHY in HOLY HELL Jon Gruden would ever trade him away. This is the type of guy that sets the perfect tone of a locker room for a decade. Which is as valuable as whatever he does on the field, which is apparently A LOT.

Agree with every comment here. How often do you find a guy who...
1. Is a future HOFer
2. Works as hard as anyone or harder
3. Is a super good person.
4. Is in the prime of his career.
5. Is available

Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

The funny thing is I lived in Denver for 10 years and thought of Von Miller as superior to Mack because honestly I was never paying attn to Mack and the Denver media loved Miller.
I am glad we have Mack. I think Miller isnt the leader or the power guy Mack is. Miller is probably faster off the edge.
Mack has made me realize how fast I can get a man crush. lol

That's outstanding. We all need shrines made to our own stupidity, so we don't grow too big for our britches. Well done sir!malk wrote:I'm not changing my sig any time soon, hope to be eating crow for a long time.
