With EJ banged up, is picking up Swearinger a decent idea?

Saw he was released from Washington and I don't know when EJ is going to be back. Although Bush played good, some depth couldn't hurt. What say ye?
NYer that fell in love with Sweetness destroying defenders with that legendary stiff arm @ 8 yrs old. I'll never forget those early days and now, after many many years we have some integral players that'll be the key to success in the very near future.

Pass
At this point, a guy off the street doesn't really do much. That would be a last possible option, plus Bush seems to be fine (we think/hope). Plus, apparently this guy brings a lot of baggage.
Alas, I also get the feeling Eddie will be good to go for our first playoff game. Which is really all that matters to me.
