Bears win a horribly stressful game. Survival is all that matters.

BEARS 19 (two missed Parkey XPs)

EAGLES 17 (failed 2PT conversion at end of regulation)

This game is going to hinge on one thing, and one thing only. Can Trubisky play within himself, or is he going to get all amped up and start sailing passes again. If Trubisky plays well, this game really won't be that close. The Eagles don't have much of a running game, and their primary receiving threat is their TE Ertz. Yes Jeffrey is good, but he disappears from games. As far as I can tell right now, they only have four receivers on their team.

I think Mitch rises to the occasion and plays a good game. Not great, but good. Howard has a good game, as does Burton. I think the defense turns the Eagles one dimensional pretty quick out of the gate, and the Bears end up with 5 sacks and 6 TFL. If the defense continues to play as they have the last few weeks, this game is over by halftime.

Bears - 27
Eagles - 17 (TD in garbage time)

What is the Eagles defense like? I really have no idea. I know that Fletcher Cox is good, and that Michael Bennett USED to be good. But I think their secondary is marginal at best. Is that correct? What about their LB's?

Bears 31, Eagles 14

Bears defense will cause havoc and shut down the eagles completely. Jackson will get a great welcome back with two interceptions on jumps balls to Alshon. Mack, Floyd, Hicks and Nichols all get sacks.

The Eagles D line presents less of a threat than the Rams.

I am overly confident about this game and it scares the living shit out of me. I don't see the Eagles presenting anything that is overly impressive. Foles? Big shit, Bears beat the hell out of him. Running game = avg at best.

Trubs doesn't have to be outstanding, he can be a game manager. I would be more worried about Nagy establishing the run game and going completely away from it. Using empty sets that will not take advantage of play action.

With this D, Trubs can pretty much take what is given.

Bears 24

Iggles 13

Let’s just hope it doesn’t come down to a field goal.

I’m tired of these close games, can we please get back to the defense forcing turnovers and the team scoring 30 points?

How epic would it be for the bears to play the pats in the super bowl?

Nick Foles 5 games were against the 27th (L), 28th, 19th, 17th and 12th ranked Ds. Houston was 12th ranked. He has not faced anythng like the Bears D. It seems as if they like to throw a lot of underneath stuff and then try to pop one to Alshon. Ertz would be the only O weapon that causes a little concern.
