The following guys are listed on our roster at the RB position...

Taylor Gabriel
Tanner Gentry
Anthony Miller
Cordarrelle Patterson
Riley Ridley
Allen Robinson
Javon Wims
(I left some off who I viewed as purely TC fodder.)

Discuss this position group and predict who makes the final 53 barring injury.
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

Go back to leather helmets, NFL.

This one looks kind of obvious...

Gabriel
Miller
Patterson
Ridley
Robinson
Wims

But who plays STs? Ridley and Wims?

Agreed, Patterson was brought in as a gadget guy and primarily special teams for at least returns. whyte could be the other returner.

Like RB, the only intrigue is at the very bottom.

Robinson, Gabriel, Miller, Patterson, Ridley all locks

That leaves a fight for 1 slot.
I think it comes down to Wims and Marvin Hall at nearly even odds, but I'll pick Hall.
Emanuel Hall makes both of them footnotes once healthy, but that probably involves PUP/IR time first.

Gentry is gone. I don't even think he'll be in the discussion whatsoever.

Patterson is interesting, because he's not that good of a receiver, yet he could be a total wild-card in Nagy's offense. Nagy has a hard on for guys like this, who have no real defined position but great athleticism and versatility if you think way outside the box.

I think Wims and Ridley both make the roster. Miller's shoulder may not be 100% (or re-aggravated), Robinson has recent health history too. Not to say either or both will be injured, but those two guys are nice pieces that I believe should make the 53.

This is a tough one, because I think Emanuel Hall is going to make himself tough to cut. It's possible that the Bears could carry 7 WR's, given that Patterson is sort of a utility player, but unlikely. I fear Wims is the odd man out. Maybe they try to stash him on the PS.
