Dammit Marshall!!! Willie Gault was my next pick. I couldn't believe he wasn't gone yet.

I couldn't believe he was still on the board either. That dude was fast and was great at the deep ball.Bears Whiskey Nut wrote:Dammit Marshall!!! Willie Gault was my next pick. I couldn't believe he wasn't gone yet.

Hey cblaz11, how is that juggernaut of an offense coming along?
Bears history is riddled with outstanding defensive players. Offense...not so much. Food for thought.

Yep. Or somebody is gonna have to take a Parkey or Conte type. Or we could start looking at favorite players who weren't necessarily good.wab wrote:We are getting to the rounds where we are gonna have to start digging for dudes.

Some of you have already discussed this, but I think after the draft is over we can have a thread for trades and to close out the draft experience, select head coaches for our teams.

The Chris Harris and Tony Parrish picks were great. Created some serious nostalgia for me. I loved watching those guys play. It killed me when Parrish left for San Francisco.

Me too, man. I weep for what Brown and Parrish should have been. The Marshall Plan wrote:The Chris Harris and Tony Parrish picks were great. Created some serious nostalgia for me. I loved watching those guys play. It killed me when Parrish left for San Francisco.

Since I already have Da Coach as a TE, would you want me to draft a head coach anyway?UOK wrote:Some of you have already discussed this, but I think after the draft is over we can have a thread for trades and to close out the draft experience, select head coaches for our teams.
I'm up for OC and DC too if you guys want to do it.

My thought was that any Bears players that became coaches are not eligible (ripping a hole in the space time continuum). The Marshall Plan wrote:Since I already have Da Coach as a TE, would you want me to draft a head coach anyway?UOK wrote:Some of you have already discussed this, but I think after the draft is over we can have a thread for trades and to close out the draft experience, select head coaches for our teams.

Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".
