Pagano is known as a DB guru, so I started there. Then, I thought that since it's a newish scheme, who better than the one new starter on our defense? The new defense levels the playing field a bit as far as learning goes, so the newbie gets an equal chance to shine and earn his big new contract (and net us a quality compensatory pick).

It might even be Eddie Jackson... Ed Reed in his HOF speech said that Chuck Pagano taught him everything he knows about playing safety.
