This feels like a let down game, but the Bears are good enough overall to still come out with a win. Hopefully Chase can keep the wheels on and the running game perks up.

Bears - 20
Raiders - 9

Chase Daniels is a very good back up QB. Key word is back up. However the Raiders are not very talented and will slow down, but not stop Chicago's O. Bears D is going to destroy the Oakland O with Mack having his best game yet as a Bear. The game will be closer than it should be, but still a comfortable victory

Bears win!

24-6

Raiders are a wobbly team that needs a bit more of a reckoning to become either truly good or truly shit.

Carr is better than Cousins, but his weapons are extremely poor, and he may be harboring a bum leg. Their offensive line is really torn up injury-wise. Rookie RB Josh Jacobs is turning heads, but if you can shut down Cook, you can shut down Jacobs.

Their defense is going to be without Felony Assault Specialist Vontaze Burfict, and some of their defensive backs are only just starting to come around. That said, I don't respect their defense and neither should the Bears.

If Chase Daniels gets hurt, this game (and the season) could devolve quickly into a survival battle. The run game hasn't been very good, the offensive line is banged up and inconsistent, and the WR depth is either underachieving or injured.

I believe the Bears win due to their defense, but that bye week looks extra tasty right now.

Apparently the Bears won't leave for London until Thursday, whereas the Raiders are already there.

The players are somewhat pissed that their pay for that game will be taxed all to hell. Welcome to the land of government-subsidized healthcare, my friends.

I despise these damn overseas games ... I'd rather the NFL spend some quality time ensuring they have referees that don't require seeing eye dogs than trying to establish their international brand

the Raiders have been all over the place with their performance and results ... I think their lack of cohesiveness will work against them this week

Daniels doesn't suck, so the offense can still be effective if he plays within himself ... no turnovers is the key

Bears defense should get after Carr

Chase has been good in relief, but when he starts...................he’s been iffy.

What, you expect our owners to PAY money? nononono, we MAKE money. If the players want sacrifice a portion of their % of the cut to fund year round refs then have at it. /S

The Vikings are a much better team than the Raiders, and the Bears defense just made them look like a bunch of amateurs. The Vikings OL is pretty good. The Raiders are really banged up. If Reiff can get destroyed by Mack on a double team, not sure what the Raiders OT can do, but it won't be better. I see Fuller and Prince shutting down their receivers, and Carr having nowhere to go with the ball. Gruden is going to move the pocket, but it won't help.

What is the over/under on how many times the broadcast cuts to Gruden's face after a big play by Mack. I put it at 7.5.

On offense I think Daniel is serviceable for another week. He will get the ball to the playmakers. Without Burfict, I am guessing that Miller has a huge game out of the slot. Monty might finally run for 100+ yards as well. It won't be a high scoring affair, but the Bears squeak one out in London.

Bears - 17
Raiders - 9

I’ve been waiting for this one with meatball level anticipation. The Khalil Mack Revenge Game against Team ESPN with Chucky and Mayock. Goodie goodie. Every week at work on Casual Friday I wear a Bears jersey and kinda rotate which one I wear. This week is #52 for sure.

I watch a lot of coach and player interviews on YouTube and every time Mack is this soft spoken guy with a good sense of humor. Yet he destroys everything he sees. What’s he like when he’s pissed?

Me thinks we’re in for a treat. Dinero may want in on this too.

Look what we did to the Vikings without Hicks and Roquan. I’m guessing Roquan plays. Who knows about Hicks? We didn’t miss him against the Vikings. Nick Williams and RRH “kinda” took care of business.

The offense does just enough to win. We get to 20 points. Daniel throws for a TD. Monty gets one on the ground from near the goal line and Dinero gets two FGs. Mack gets 3 sacks with at least one of them being nasty. The Raiders get a gift from Pagano’s bend but don’t break in the fourth quarter.

Chucky is a lot of things. But senseless isn't one of them. And the last thing he wants is for Mack to wreck this game. Derek Carr is going to be getting the ball out of his hand so fast, he won't even make it to "thousand two". Nothing but 3 step drops this week. Or maybe hurry up offense for large sections of the game. Daniel accomplishes his main goal of not turning the ball over.

So what's the over/under on how many times we get "the money shot" of Chucky's angry face? Because you know, its super scary and uber cool. He's just so intense OMG!

(I just would love the irony of my guy Smokin' Jay to somehow announce this game and nitpick the hell out of Gruden. Gruden would be merciless to Cutler when broadcasting Bears games and I always thought he was a dickhead.)

I just watched the replay of that hit. WTF was Burfict doing?! He literally looked like he was trying to take off his head. Burfict has been fined MULTIPLE times for unsafe play and egregious hits. They should just kick him out of the league before he really hurts someone. Like paralyzes them or worse.

So when the Bears win, you'll just have to rely on roughing up the suspect, rather than a real piece of ass. Seems like a fair trade.

Appreciate why you USA folk might hate the International Games, but as a UK resident I LOVE 'EM!
I will be at this one, in the 20th row on the half way line. I CANNOT WAIT!

That said, I'm not sure how great a game it will be. Not sure how Chase will manage as a starter, but at the same time I can't see the Raiders putting up much with a grumpy, flying-hating Gruden and Mack out to prove a point.
My guess is that we hold them to a field goal for most of the game, then give up a TD off a long drive in the 4th (again).

We get a little scare early, but ultimately pull away and the game is in hand before the 2 minute warning.

The Raiders O is going to need catastrophic healthcare coverage for this one.

For GSH ... my recommendation would be tell her you've had a change of heart & root openly for the Raiders while they get destroyed ... while cheering for the Bear deep down inside (where it counts). Get laid. Then watch the recording again later and smile/cheer as much as you want. You'll want to watch it more than once anyway, and can turn this into a win-win. :)

Granted, it would be totally "Bear-like" for the Raiders' rookie MLB to have an Ogletree game against Chase. If that happened, I'd say "but of course that would happen..." BUT... if I'm going with the principle of "expect it when you least expect it", I'm going to guess the Bear O lights it up in this game with at least 4 TDs well-balanced between running and passing, as Nagy has recognized that a commitment to even an underwhelming running game helps the Oline and makes things easier on whatever QB is in there. And I'll guess the D throws another score in for good measure. Because this is looking like one of the best defenses of all time. Of course the Raiders will sneak one in at some point because it happens -probably late with a big play by Williams or Jacobs. Jet lag.

This is the Khalil Mack revenge game!!! Do you remember what Jefferson did to Lincoln when he thought they stole his car? Picture Khalil is #33:

Going with the same score, Ridgemont, err the Bears 42, Raiders 0.

I don't know where else to put this - it certainly doesn't belong in the conversation about #10. But don't the Bears basically have to pull Bray up onto the 53 from the PS? I love Tarik. But let's just say not as a backup QB...
