In 2013 on MNF in Lambeau.

Rodgers broke his collar bone first drive of the game. Josh McCown beat Seneca Wallace 27-20.
Thanks for mentioning that game. I watched it on Game Pass this morning. Good memories.
2013 was a horribly frustrating season. We gave a lot of games away with defensive meltdowns late (most notably the final one). Not to mention the game in Minnesota where Trestman decided to kick a 47 yard field goal with Robbie on 2nd down in OT.

However, that season produced quite a lot of entertaining and wild football games. It's a year that really stands out to me when I think back over the past two decades. Our offense couldn't be stopped and our defense couldn't stop anybody. Bears bizarro world.

I kinda wish Kamara was playing. The Bears have a rich tradition of making backups look like superstars.

There is a QB called Teddy
Whose play has been quite steady
But when he takes a sack
From a riled up Mack
He’ll find he’s really not ready

We play Coach Sean the cajun
Until 3 we will be waitin'
He doesn't have the right first name

They take the field
To a marching band beat
“We will not yield.
We can take the heat!”

“Who dat?” they yell
Those Saints from the South
Then find they’re in hell
As they’re smashed in the mouth

“We’re Da Bears!”
Comes the roar in reply
“Who is it that dares
To face us after a bye”

“A trip to the UK
Sent us astray
Now the Monsters of the Midway
Are back here to stay”

This game is a meeting
Where the faithful just grin
Those Saints take a beating
And the mighty Bears win

“Who dat?” they joke
After this game
"Take note now folk
And remember our name"

"We’re the Chicago Bears
This is the start of our reign
Don’t anybody dare
To doubt us again!"

Bars is inactive, so no great surprise but it looks like Coward will start at right guard. Looked decent in fill in duty.

My goodness Trubisky is damn inaccurate. And it’s getting painful how little respect other teams have for even the possibility of him throwing three ball. They invite the Bears to throw and crush the line of scrimmage.

And Anthony Miller can fuck right off until he does something worthwhile this season.

Special teams with two big plays helping to erase the blocked punt and resulting safety.

Jekyll and Hyde special teams today. DHC getting blown up trying to block for the Bears punt. Puzzling stuff that the Bears can’t execute reliably.

This Bears offense is laughable, the play calling and decision making beggars belief.

This is not an NFL level unit.

Nagy is not helping his QB with his playcalling here.

His QB is not helping his coach with his execution, either.

It’s painful to watch this team play so poorly on offense. Somehow though we are still in this game. We’d better come out in the second half with guns blazing.

...or they could let them drive down the field in 3 minutes.

I'm about one drive away from calling this season over at 12 minutes of the second half.

First play on offense for the Bears in the second half, Montgomery rush and fumble.

I called it as a run when they lined up. It's their running formation.

how in the hell can this team come out of their bye week and look so ill prepared and disinterested?

the only thing that has been good about this game was the awesome overhead shots of downtown Chicago with the skyscrapers peeking up from under the low cloud cover ... that was cool

the game has been anything but

It’s ok to say the season is over. This offense may not score 10 points in a game the rest of the year. They need to retool multiple positions and the personnel simply isn’t there to be even pathetic, much less average.

6 rushing attempts. 25 passes. And our quarterback is a clown. I know we can't run the ball but damn, you've got to at least pretend to try.

that's kind of to be expected when your idea of a running game is take a 5' 8" 180 pound munchkin and think you can have success handing him the ball to run into the middle of a defense behind a suspect offensive line
