I've decided I'm just turning a new chapter with this game. The first half is in the past. We are what we are. I'm sick of rehashing it and I'm sick of being angry. I'm going to crumple all of that up and throw it in the trash.
Mitch, Nagy... you have a clean slate. 2nd half runs happen. Let's get a win and go from there.

Getting down on this team really doesn't do any good whatsoever.
But it does take the fun out of the second half of a football season that we all waited for.
So the Bears won't make the playoffs. They could still play spoiler and that can be fun to watch too.

At minimum... I'm not writing off the playoffs yet. Watching the all 22 of this team, it's maddening how many big plays we missed due to a minor screw up by a random player. Drops, missed blocks, poor/lazy technique, blown assignment... the offense has been so close to exploding. Just need to make those simple plays and get the ball rolling.MoFugger wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 9:14 amI'm riding in back, peeing in an empty bottle.

I was looking to bet on the game on Bavado and knew something was up when the Bears Lions wasn't listed. Then yep - all over the news here in Detroit area is Stafford is out. Many are still calling for the Lions to blow out the Bears because of 10. No friggin way.
So I picked up 10 on my FF team (I'm not crazy - Watson is on a bye), and starting him & assuming at least 2 TDs and a good game enabled by a strong run game and play action. If this is NOT a blowout BY the Bears, I will officially write off the season. But not... quite... yet....

Stafford being out changes the entire complexion of this game. It should now be an easy win for the Bears. Saying "easy win" with this team was kind of hard, but no Stafford, no chance for the Kitties.

Whitehair at C, Shaheen is a healthy scratch. One thing is for certain. Nagy is finally coming to BFO to figure out how to fix the team. It's about DAMN time.
Nagy's finally coming here for his info? Excellent.
Bro, we still lovingly sing a song about the T formation thrilling the nation on scoring plays. We're not going to be offended by watching the ball move with some basic I formation stuff. Make it happen, cap'n.

So today we get beat by the Lion's backup?
This is all coaching... They look like shit on both sides of the ball and these WRs, TEs are complete garbage... Burton lifting legs up for no reason at the sideline and Gabrielle can't catch. Some of the worse ball I've ever seen... For as much talent that's on this team, they look like complete amateurs all around.
”Damn -- Khalil Mack had another strip sack?” Gruden asked rhetorically, shaking his head at the Oakland Raiders assistant coaches in his midst. “Are you ... kidding me?”

Hard to evaluate the QB, when the receivers drop everything and the oline sucks balls
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Caleb, and Hell followed with him.
God the o-line sucks so bad... This is painful to watch.
