Dude, it was the presser! Mitch owns up to his actions, he stands tall, he looks everybody in the eye and says “I’ll work, I’m trying, I’ll look at the film and I’ll do better”.GSH wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2019 1:33 am none of them were there. so i guess its all just speculation. Question the play calling, question the throws missed, but its a bit of a leap to straight up question their characters for no real motive. Soap opera loving retired drama queen ex-bears dont sway that for me.
Yes it’s been the same message, and no, nothing changes...but the kid takes accountability.
Last night was complete defeat! Mitch walked up to the mic broken and defeated. Hat pulled low over his eyes, head down, no eye contact, slouched over. He was done! It wasn’t the same Mitch. It wasn’t, hey, you saw what happened to my shoulder, I just couldn’t go...it was just different.
Now the fuel for the conspiracy theory...
Mitch said the “injury” took place last drive if first half and that he was evaluated in the locker room at half time. Nagy said the injury happened a drive or two earlier than when he was pulled.
Which was it?
Happened in the first half or 5 minutes ago?! OR the really weird thing, he had a hip injury in the first half, was evaluated at half time, and NOBODY thought to mention ANY of this to the HC?! Not one person thought to tell Nagy his starting QB was injured and was trying to work through the pain?
I’m not buying it!!!
