Starting to feel like Floyd is a goner...I'm kinda hoping they get him back at a reduced cap hit this year but doesn't seem likely.
This was a smart move, RRH is a valuable rotational guy. Although last year proved he's not capable of filling in full time.
Hope we can bring back Nick Williams too...

RRH was phenomenal for like 4 games where he looked like the best player on the field. Then Hicks went out.

RRH would continue to be a good member of the DL rotation. Also like his ability to bat down passes and block passing lanes. Nichols was also a "victim" of missing Hicks. Nick Williams played his way up to be another member of the rotation.
Going into TC you have a rotation of starters Hicks-Goldman-Nichols with RRH and Williams taking significant snaps. Williams was effective giving Goldman some rest too. Pagano will need to decide who his #6 will be: Urban, Anderson or some other guy.
I'd like to see Pace use a lower round pick on a NT to help Goldman plug up the middle.

San Francisco has always been my favorite booing city. I don't mean the people boo louder or longer, but there is a very special intimacy. Music, that's what it is to me. One time in Kezar Stadium they gave me a standing boo.

Lol...let’s be honest, as much as we like RRH, we would trade him for a 2 in a heartbeat lol
Glad to have him back in the fold...The only glaring hole on D now is S outside of depth.
I’m good at Corner with Fuller, Buster, and open comp for our other outside corner role.

I guess they like him. Wonder if they may even approach him about an extension.

Good call, they should. Lock him in at 9m over 3 years or something like that.

i absolutely hope they lock him up with an extension. nick williams is just a guy and i have very little faith that bilal nichols' knee is going to hold up over time. RRH is everything you want in a rotation/special teams player.

This feels a little expensive considering the number of good DTs on the market, but I think the Bears are willing to pay a little for continuity (same with Trevathan really)

To be clear I mean a little. It seems a LITTLE pricey. I like him, I was just thinking more like $2m vs $3m. And hopefully that snap % goes down because Hicks and Goldman are healthy! Maybe Nick Williams also comes back after testing the saturated market?
Regardless, it's hard to be mad at the Bears on this, the day of the Hopkins-Johnson, trade. At least we're not Texans fans. My god.

Fair - but remember the 2 v. 3 million - basically guarantees he is back here next year
