nah...just not good enough at QB.
Seems like a nice guy though!
If signed, he'll be a Bridge to someone else

Yeah...but he's only looked like one for under half a season with a great team (with Brees posting significantly better numbers, so it's not like it was TeddyB's doing).Mikefive wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 1:19 pm I've never been a TeddyB fan. But Packer fan son is telling me I'm nuts and that this is a really good move for us, because...
1. TB is better than MT (true).
2. With a good defense, we need a competent game manager (he is).
3. Maybe we can trade 10 for a late draft pick and get something for him.
4. $21M is cheap for a starting QB these days.
I think if they bring in a re-tread like Dalton or (ugh) Foles they are absolutely still drafting a guy and letting the best man win.
So, if foles is traded, how much of his contract is automatically absorbed by the Jags? Could it be a Jags give us foles and a 6th for eating the portion of the contract that they aren't stuck with.
All things being equal, I like DT, but I would've signed the younger, sturdier Kwit. But that's just me.
Well they Bears just got a comp 4th, so they could burn that. Don't want Foles though. The guy's accuracy is wholly unreliable.BearsFanInMN wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 3:00 pm Exactly. Dalton is $17m and Foles isn't much better if reading correctly. A 4th going to get either team to move and eat significant $
And dalton is pretty much a loud fart in church in the playoffs.Bears Whiskey Nut wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 6:19 pmWell they Bears just got a comp 4th, so they could burn that.
