Jaylon Johnson interview

I liked the pick a ton when we we made it. I didn't think he would make it to our first pick much less our second.

It's a fluff piece but he seems to be a good kid. I was surprised to learn he graduated before the draft. That, to me, speaks well of the kid. Especially since he graduated after his junior year. I think our secondary is going to be scary good. Of course we will have the age old debate of does a great front 7 make the back end better or does a great secondary make the front 7 better? I tend to side with the first one.

College Degrees don't make your shoulders work

As Ark said, it's from a fluff piece. At this time, normally, it's just fun to read anything fun, including fluff pieces, And this year is WAY beyond normal.

Health and staying healthy is important. But other components are needed to be a great player. Among them is intelligence. All Ark was talking about is how his college degree in 3 years is a good sign that he has that component. Has nothing to do with health nor is it a certainty his intelligence transfers to the field, Lets be honest, raw inteligence, hard work in college, make for a better chance it doeas translate to the field

That is a very astute observation.

(FYI the "bird emoji" is all in good fun, it just cracks me up, but so do fart jokes sometimes)

Just thought it may be something to help pass the time during Rona. As I stated he's a guy I liked in the draft. If he answers he question you pose about his health with positive health I think we are going to be thrilled.

I only posed about the college degree as it was new information to me and thought it might be for others as well. Show character to me and also shows he is a smart kid and hopefully that will help him getting a hold on the NFL playbook.

Rich, you're still carrying that torch and the dude that you based so much of your ire on that is gone.

Fluff pieces are fun. Sometimes, not often, sometimes you can glean a tidbit about someone.

Pressers are a waste of everybody's time.

But anyhow, as Ark said.

If it's a Bears article, I'm reading it. That's pretty much my stance on them.
