Jags don't screw up their mission for Trevor Lawrence.

It's not even close. The Jags have a LOT to lose by not losing.

Can we see Pierce on 5-6 carries instead of CPatt... please? And Riley Ridley featured instead of Robinson (who is leaving!)? Also can we see Jesper Horsted instead of Jimmy Graham? C'mon ,man - give us some treats!

I will continue to help the Bears playoff chances.

Jags 31
Bears 27

Jags pull a jets moment and win when they shouldn’t. This will screw Bears playoff hopes, but also screw Jags chance at Lawerance. Trubisky will have his best game this season, only making the chances of the bears resigning him unlikely. He will either be overpaid or gone. The defense crumbles once again by not trying to lose.

I don't see how we lose this game, so call it a coin flip that we figure out a way lol...

I think the streak of 30+ points per game continues, and Jacksonville should have zero interest in trying to win this game.

Bears come into the game expecting a cakewalk but run into a group of professional football players instead. (bad ones, but professional none-the-less) Both teams get a scare before the bears pull it out in the end.

I would of been at this game if it were a normal year, so the Bears will probably roll. Jax will probably come out and play prevent all game to keep the tank for Trevor alive.

Jags are bad. Bears beat bad teams. Seems like a good bet that continues.

I've wanted to see this game to watch mustipher and possibly bars. I dont even know who the Jags NT is, but the Jags use the 4-3 under Seahawks defense. So Mustipher will have a guy head up shaded in the A gap all game. Mustipher has played well and while maybe not a huge test is a important test.

The Jags organization probably wants to lose this game more the Bears want to win it.

It seems most of us are thinking broadly the same given the similarity in predictions.

This is a game that the Bears should walk away with...which makes me really nervous. Ultimately, the defense has an opponent that it can handle, and the offense/OL continues to gel under Lazor's play calling. Lazor figures something out from last week that Nagy never would have...RUN THE DAMN BALL. Mitch looks comfortable and puts up 300 yards and a plus 100 passer rating. Mooney goes off for 100 yards.

Also, what IE said -- let's have a look at Ridley and (at least partly) rest A-Rob. Say once we're two TD in front? Other have a look / rest combos:
McCullers / Hicks - castoff DLs develop with the Bears; let's see where
Gipson / Mack - Mack has been on the injury report for 4 different things this year I believe. Let's be smart about this. And see a bit more about what we have in the rook.
Iyebuniwe / Smith - anyone here not convinced Smith is the goods? Nahh. OTOH, we need to know about Iggy as a backup; if he's only ST-worthy in his 3rd year it may be time to move on. And we have to replace Trevathan any time from now on.

Bears can't break our hearts against the Packers if they lose here, so they will win.

nice blast from the past with that program cover ... Buerelein and Brunnell ... brings back memories of long ago when the Jaguars were good

not so much these days, though they do show flashes now and again

it is pretty much a lock the Bears win this ... that's the only way they go into the last game of the season with hopes of the playoffs, only to once again have their dreams crushed by the Packers ... Goon Bay could very well add insult to injury by sitting Rodgers and beating the Bears with Jordan Love

Everything points to a Jags loss and a Bears win, which should make us immediately suspicious. Despite being wary of situations like these in the NFL, I'll go with a Bears win.

I think it's surprisingly close for most of the game:
Bears: 20
Jags: 9
I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

Marrone may not want to lose but Jags continue to tank for Trevor:

The Bears thing to do is totally to lose this game before you even reach a win and potentially in scenario vs GB.

Bears season ends in total catastrophe. Right when they had gotten our hopes back up JUUUSSSTTTT a little.

I'd like to see Hicks and Mack take a rest on the inactive list, but with the "have to win out" mentality I doubt they'll gamble. I'd also like to see Holtz inactive and bring up Jesper Horsted, but doubt that will happen either.

Jags D is 26th for rushing YPC, and last in the league for passing Yds/attempt. If the Bears do not repeatedly make foolish mistakes, this should be fairly easy the way the O is rolling.

Jags - 19
San Francisco has always been my favorite booing city. I don't mean the people boo louder or longer, but there is a very special intimacy. Music, that's what it is to me. One time in Kezar Stadium they gave me a standing boo.
