It was hip, foot and ankle injuries as well. i imagine there are still long term effects on his gait that lead to the current knee injury.

Getting a knee injury sucks, but maybe a guy fell on him or something.
(unless of course he went the banned substance route to help recover and his tendons are now like brittle strings)

He got rolled up on by a teammate and his career was never the same after that.
