Honestly, my dream is to one day have a vacation home out in the middle of nowhere to just to enjoy nature and the quiet that comes with it. And if I don't ever have the ability to have a vacation home, at least to sell my house after the kid has moved out and I retire and buy a place in the country to live out the rest of my days.

Well yeah, there is that. But even the house they were showing looked to be pretty modest.

Dude has lived in a camper for a year when he could have bought another house or apartment while his other house was being built. That's still kinda wild.

It looked new. And probably was a 25 to 30 foot? That's a new misdsive SUV unless he got a slightly used one.

Someone might want to price out 200 acres of land with water on it before saying it is a modest house. Guarantee you the land alone is 7 figures.

Yeah it's probably right around 30 grand. Really nice ones are more then double that. If we look at it from my income it would be an expensive hobby item. For a millionaires home it's cheap. Granted I dont have 200 acres.

200 acres with water doesn't automatically mean 7 figures. But anyways the original comment was clearly about the size of the house structure and not necessarily the land.

Not for that style probably. Maybe a 5th wheeler or toy hauler. Or an actual RV of course. Those can run into 6 figures.

Anyways that was the laugh face though. The 300k totally custom tour bus wouldn't be expensive to him either. A brand new 30k camper is expensive to a normal buyer though. Most people finance a hobby like that.
