Lol he does the Ray Ray entrance at around the 10 second mark or so. Boss level shit.
While it’s very rare that the Son Of somebody works out, if he’s even half the player his dad was the kid will be something special.
What I liked was that he was gaining yards by making people miss. Not just because he’s faster. That shows he’s smart.
Devin Hester's son is a monster

I watched that yesterday. I know it's just one clip, but having coached youth football for 6 years in a previous life...you don't generally see vision, patience, and anticipation like that from someone that young.
Little dude is out there breaking ankles and throwing 20 yard dimes at 8 years old.

I think we have someone here who's coached teams at this age so I'd love them to weigh in but my understanding is that at this age, you'll typically see standouts like this and it's not that uncommon. I remember years ago there was a kid Cody Paul that gave off the same vibes but when he grew up, he ended up topping out at like 5'5 170 pounds and wasn't able to do much in college.
Here's a link to the video that I probably watched a million times when it first came out (nowhere near as many cuts as the Hester one):

Well of course this doesn’t mean anything in terms of guaranteed success in the future. It’s not uncommon for one or two kids to be heads and shoulders ahead of their teammates and opponents.
What is different in the Hester video is how well he seems to understand what to do at such a young age.

I had a kid in JFL that was a beast and continued to be a beast through jr high school. Freshman year he continued to dominate. Then.......he failed to grow any more, ripped up his knee and was never the same. He had a very good final 2 years of high school football, but just never met "others" expectations. He did go to a small D III college and played. Great kid, still keeps in contact with me.

Agreed, rarely do 8-9 to 12-13 year old studs pan out later with male athletes, they just matured early while the beasts are just starting to hit their growth spurts and are very uncoordinated.
Not saying he can’t be something, just saying it’s not a prediction of anything.
