This wasn’t a change for change’s sake. The forum software requires occasional updates for feature, performance, and security reasons. The “skin” of the board, the theme, is often only partially or entirely incompatible with a small range of forum software versions. After a few years, maybe, it’s time to upgrade.

Xee contacted the theme’s creator and procured a version compatible with the latest forum software. He then had to manually edit the colors element by element to match the old board and to appease my persnickety-ness. Needless to say, he did a bang up job. As always!

Well the CSS and HTML things you did made it easy on the eye.

Well done, lads!

I love the dark look. But I accidentally hit that button at the top of the screen and turned it white. Hated that, and I had trouble figuring out what I did. Spent a half hour trying to turn it back when I lucked across the button. I'm just dumb I guess.

That light bulb icon at the top of the screen is where you want to go to toggle the look.

Glad the default is the dark screen. Didn't know we had an option until I read this and I'm with Yogi, I'm not a fan of the white screen.
