The Bears signed him Jan. 6, 2020, as an undrafted rookie.

I'd like to see us sign Eifert. I know he's not close to the player he was, but he's stayed fairly healthy the last few years and wouldn't be counted on to play a ton of snaps for us. If Graham goes down he's a pretty similar player, esp in the red zone.

Our TE depth is severely lacking. I would expect a Day 2 or early Day 3 pick will be used on someone to complement Kmet next draft.

It's a good call and he shouldn't cost that much on a one year deal

I could see him as a FB/Move TE hybrid. He's bigger/faster than Trey Burton was as a prospect...
