The Saints have officially released running back Latavius Murray.

According to Adam Schefter, the Saints asked Murray to take a pay cut on Monday and he said no. The 31-year-old averaged 4.5 yards per carry and 7.7 yards per catch in 2020, his second season with New Orleans.

A product of Central Florida, Murray was a sixth-round pick for Raiders in 2013. He has totaled 43 rushing touchdowns in seven NFL seasons, which he has spent in Oakland, Minnesota and New Orleans. He made 15 starts for the Saints and 31 appearances in two seasons.
surprised the Ravens didn't make an offer to Murray who brings less baggage with him than Bell ... guess they still might as they need RB help
