Baltimore is pissed they looked like shit against the Fins. The Fins D is trending upward, the Bears D........Not. Jackson is due for another breakout game and the Bears D will oblige. The Bears O had their breakout game , 27 pts against Pitt. The Raven D is much better. I think the Bears O goes back to their normal 16 pts a game, give or take 3.
They really don't have a scary running back beyond containing Lamar. Andrews is pretty good and so is Hollywood Brown. I think they can put 3 TDs on the Bears and Tucker is always good for one or two FG.
I've been expecting it and saying it for a while now - but it seems like only a matter of time before JF1 starts producing 2 TDs a game passing and one running on top of the Bear run game getting one. I really think this team is capable of putting up 30 handles even if we haven't seen it. Just one bad call or one drop in a couple of games, and they're already there (MO) ...

Even though the Bears looked very respectable against Pitt, Baltimore is better than the Bears and they just had their Letdown Game, so they aren't going to follow it up with another.

Hello, my name is Moriarty. I have come to kill your website, prepare to die.
Ravens have been lucky to escape or lost to some very average to bad teams this year. Lions, Colts, and Chiefs, Raiders, and Dolphins come to mind. They've still got 6 wins, but I think they're a tad overrated. All of that said, I still think the Ravens will rebound and get the win. Harbaugh has proven to be a top-tier coach and I think they're going to come out pissed after the loss.
I want to wait for our injury report next week to make a pick but want to say that people are sleeping on Rashad Bateman. He’s a talented rookie who has arrived as a compliment to Hollywood Brown and Mark Andrews. We only have 1 good CB and 1 good LB at this point to cover guys so that leaves Bateman vs Shelley and that’s not gonna go well for the Bears.
Also, people who think the bears can reproduce anything the dolphins did should check out more of the tape on that game because the Bears can’t do it. The Bears cannot put four safeties on the field and blitz from all angles while also stopping the run.

Looks like Tony Romo and Jim Nantz will be calling this game:
You just made my day. I deliberately watch the Tony Romo game every week. He's an artist. The best I've ever listened to other than Harry Carey and Steve Stone.
It's a shame we suck so bad.
Lamar Jackson is my second favorite non-Bear behind Gardner Minshew. He's what I want Soldier Fields to become.
Unfortunately an entire bye week will do nothing for our chances against the Ravens. Even if we get Mack back, I don't see how we get pressure on Jackson. He's too elusive. He also has an elite arm, with a couple of solid targets to throw to. I expect Hollywood Brown to be running free in the secondary. Everyone here predicting the Bears score over 24 points needs to have their heads examined. There is nothing in the three and a half year history of the Nagy offense that would suggest that this is achievable. Baltimore has an average defense, which is all that is needed to stymie Nagy, and make the Bears offense look totally anemic.
edit: im really enjoying the retro game covers for the game thread pics @UOK , wondered what you were going to do with the ravens and did not disappoint

Being in Chicago, and coming off a bye,
I think we still lose this one...

I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!
man ... I am so conflicted on this game ... one would think the Ravens would be smarting from getting spanked by the Dolphins, so would come to Chicago ready to right their ship ... one would also think the Bears are still po'd about how the Steeler game went so would work out their aggression against Baltimore
I can make an argument as to how each team can win, but both can't and there won't be a tie

“Get thee back into the tempest and the Night’s Plutonian shore!
Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken!
Leave my loneliness unbroken!—quit the bust above my door!
Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!”
Quoth the Raven “Nevermore.”

The secret is to work less as individuals and more as a team. As a coach, I play not my eleven best, but my best eleven.

Ravens are really pissed now. They need to win to keep up for the playoffs. The Bears would have to punch them in the mouth on both sides of the ball and JF would have to out-Lamar Lamar. JF might do it, the other parts not so much.
