Just got in. It is much better to listen to the ineptness on the radio. That way I can't see this shit. I come in and see Mooney drop a pass he has to catch. That dude is not a #2, maybe a #3.

Surprising no one, the Nagy led Bears come out of the bye week and get shut out in the first half.

I like it that they're talking about the Baltimore game 8 years ago.
I remember that one.
The tornado warnings were pretty much all day and they started early. Usually you get a warning for an hour and then move on. This was atrocious.
My family and I elected to spend the day at Woodfield Mall instead of just waiting for the sirens to go off again.
Had a great time. Went to Toys 'R Us and got the kid something. Then Rainforest Cafe for lunch. Both of those are gone now. Did some misc. shopping at the mall.

what a totally frustrating and inept first half that was ... so may blown/wasted opportunities by the Bears
kudos to the defense ... Quinn especially is going nuts ... but man, the inability to score points or convert 3rd downs is just so sad

Defense is actually not playing very well against a non descript backup QB
Fields not playing well - inaccurate on too many throws, seems confused by the ravens coverages and, when he is accurate, Darnell Mooney drops the ball - including an absolutely gutless drop on a perfect pass on 3rd down with less than 2 minutes left in the half.
Bears may be looking at a shutout loss

End of half, down by 6.
Not that it should be surprising, but does it feel like the Bears staff has once again been outcoached? After a great first drive the Bears put up crap the rest of the half. The only time JF1 has been out of the pocket was designed run plays or the wildcat. And the Bears D is getting back to its bend don't break junk. That big pickup by the Ravens after they got the first down near the end of the half was another indictment on the Bears coaches.
Let's see what great halftime adjustments Nagy and crew make. Maybe they can find something in the playbook to throw to a TE? Maybe?

San Francisco has always been my favorite booing city. I don't mean the people boo louder or longer, but there is a very special intimacy. Music, that's what it is to me. One time in Kezar Stadium they gave me a standing boo.

That is wild, I was there as well. We drove up to Chicago a day early. My daughter had a doctor's appt at the Shriner's on MOnday. The ride there was scary as shit. A tornado hit Washington, IL and tore that town up that day.The Marshall Plan wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 2:25 pm I like it that they're talking about the Baltimore game 8 years ago.

I spent most of the time at the mall in the car listening to the radio.
As for today, Fields has not been done any favors by this staff. Things have to change drastically for next year to even be average.
Fields had monty open on that last run though. He needs to settle down a bit. he has been taking off pretty quick today.

Bears trying hard to lose, may come up short.
Still plenty of time to mess up.

On the bright side, it's another nail in Nagy's coffin.

The D is in disarray, guys not knowing their jobs. The team leads the league in personal fouls. The illegal procedure penalties are awful. It is a reflection on the staff.
No Jackson and they still get beat.
I predict a L on Thurs.

Like I said, they tried hard to lose and made it.
You get to the point where you have to laugh, not worth getting upset over these bumblers.
