Nice and creative. Funny too.
This guy could've chicken shitted his way through that prediction and said four FGs, but hell no.
He put a safety in there.

As much as I think Detroit has a chance to see Nagy get fired, Tim Boyle is starting and hasn't thrown 30 passes in the NFL yet...Our D is still playing better than average, which should be enough against their bad offense. Expect a couple turnovers.
Our offense vs their defense...I think we're going to run down their throats and Dalton should be able to hit on some playaction deep balls to Mooney and Goodwin. This game should be out of reach by the time I put the pumpkin pie on my plate around the middle of the 3rd quarter.
Bears: 30
Lions: 13

I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

I'm officially OK with the team tanking for the season for the first time in my life. So of course they'll win. Fingers crossed though.

I get all the cynicism for sure - and watching this team has been painful. But c'mon, man - it's Turkey Day and the Bears are playing on national TV against a team they absolutely should beat (and have already this season).
My prescription is "take the joy when you can get it".

I am hoping for a close, competitive game. And I actually hope we lose because I'm of the opinion it will hasten Nagy's firing.
I'm curious to see what this offense looks like with Fields at the helm and zero input from Nagy.
Lifeless Lions - 20
Bumbling Bears - 17

Of course it matters - YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME.
Lazor starts out with the Bears running attack firing, then has Dalton execute real play-action. And he remembers the TE's.
Bears CB's never challenged by whatever jamoke the Lions trot out.
Bears - 28
Lions - 13

San Francisco has always been my favorite booing city. I don't mean the people boo louder or longer, but there is a very special intimacy. Music, that's what it is to me. One time in Kezar Stadium they gave me a standing boo.

There are a number of things going in the Lions favor here.
- They're at home
- They tend to play well on Thanksgiving
- And we don't
- Goff looks like he's going to be back
- They've been playing pretty tough of late.
- We still have a bunch of significant injuries.
- Reports of imminent Nagy firing and losing the locker room have to be distracting, whether true or not.
This is one of those games where either the team rallies behind their coach and smashes the weak opponent or they completely lose focus due to distractions and injuries. My spider senses tell me it's the latter and I'm going against the line for the first time all year. Lions add to the Nagy embarrassment train with their first win of the year, while we do 6-game losing streaks 2 years in a row.

Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

That Lions TE Hockenson is going to have a field day. Talking of TE's, i found this interesting, direct comparison between Kmet and Shaheen first 2 years : https://stathead.com/tiny/8my10
Shaheen ultimately worse but Kmet has been straight up bad.

GAME DAY BITCHES!!!!!
A very Happy Thanksgiving to all of you idiots. I am grateful for this forum. I couldn't get through an entire Bears season without you. Be grateful for what you have, and appreciate the little things.
Here's hoping the Bears haven't completely given up on Nagy, and that our defense is able to get a few stops against the winless Lions. If the Bears lose this game, the shit show that will follow will make the rest of the season almost un-BEARable.

Just realised I haven't given my prediction.
I expect both teams to put an emphasis on running the ball and that it will therefore be another relatively low scoring game. Tough one to call, as we don't really know how Dalton will perform or indeed the Bears team generally given all that's gone on in recent days. The Lions have run the ball effectively in recent weeks and the Bears are down Hicks and Edwards on the D-line. Goff put up solid numbers last time against the Bears but he's banged up. In theory it should be a close one given recent results, but who knows?
Bears: 20
Lions: 16

Allen Robinson has a "hamstring" injury. He's on a franchise tag, and it wouldn't surprise me if he is just pissed off, and will end up with this nagging "injury" for the rest of the season. Someone is going to pay him next year, and he knows it.HisRoyalSweetness wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 11:16 am Bears inactives:

I don’t think Sean Desai’s cover nobody defense is going to catch on.

Looks as though all faith in Vildor is officially done.
Andy Dalton looked good in the first half not so good since. Yet once again we give up on the run early and continue to run out of the shotgun. So damn predictable.
Hell if I know what we are doing before we do it. I think professional D=coords know it as well.

One of the most boring games I've ever seen. Then the dumbasses with the coin toss.
I found myself watching the game for the wrong reason, hoping for a loss, so I turned it off and put on a movie instead.
Just checked online, the Lions are up 14-13. If the Bears lose this game how is Nagy not fired?

The report never really made sense and George McCaskey told the team it was a lie yesterday.
Even if they planned on doing it they can’t do it now after calling it a lie and the team winning, everyone would check out and this team would get even worse.

Just watching the TTNL after game show and they showed a clip of Nagy on the sidelines before the team even ran out onto the field with rest of the coaches. He did not speak to one player and not one player approached him whilst they went around fist bumping other coaches.
