Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

I agree with UOK...It's over by halftime. The Bears get two garbage TD's during the 4th when Jordan Love is in.
The team officially quits on Nagy.
Bears 27
Packers 41
Guessing it'll be Bortles in since Love is not 100%, but yeah, some backup will be shitting dimes on the Bears CBs for the 4th quarter.
I don't think the team will necessarily quit on Nagy, but this is gonna be That Game where the McCaskeys have a meeting afterward and shift gears organizationally.
I would HOPE they fire Nagy and Pace after this loss so they can take advantage of the new rules while an interim appointee holds down the ship, but it's almost a 100% lock that it'll all wait until after the season because of old fashioned and outdated propriety, gestures of personal friendship to their buddies Pace and Nagy. This of course will put them at a major disadvantage because other teams won't be fucking around while the Bears are more than happy to take their time.
Edit:
Still think the Puke get 42 and win
But also think the Bears will put up a fight and get 30

I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

Bears - 17
Packers - 38
After this loss there will be 4 games left, I think this is when ownership has their discussions as to how to move forward. Nagy likely will be let go after the Seahawks game so the Bears can save face when the window opens to interview potential head coaching candidates.
Pace either gets promoted (opening a GM vacancy) or has his job saved with an extension provided ownership likes who he brings in as his next head coach.
Nagy/Lazor play monkey-see; monkey-do after NE once again demonstrates it can do whatever it wants (and will) to win in that brilliant game plan against the Bills. Bears come in with JF1 the surprise starter, and run the ball 45 times. Monty and Herbert just fucking pound them all day, with the Oline doing the only thing it can do well. Packers get 4 sacks but 3 of them are just stopping JF1 short of the LOS on his 15 rushes.
Monty: 110 yards on 25 carries
Herbert: 40 yards on 5 carries
JF1: 105 yards on 15 carries
Bears 24
Packers 23
[just put 20 on Bears moneyline at +500 plus the over (lol) at 43.5 ... +1055 pays $211]
2023 Chicago Bears... emerging from a long hibernation, and hungry!
Hey - I went to college! What's with the mirror? Don't you just stick a 7-11 big gulp straw right into the 4 ounce bag? lol Anyway... now I've moved on to even more expensive habits. Like having kids, home ownership and getting married more than once on purpose.

The Green Bay Packers have more COVID-19 issues at the QB position.
The team announced Monday that it placed backup quarterback Jordan Love on the reserve/COVID-19 list after testing positive for COVID.
Love is fully vaccinated and must now isolate, but is eligible to rejoin the team if he remains symptom free and has two negative tests at least 24 hours apart.
Um...
If Love tested positive -
There's no way in Hell Rodgers wasn't an unvaccinated close contact

But they cover for him. "Um... he was virtual for everything... yeah - that's the ticket! He was virtual and using a body double if you ever thought you saw him."

You need to adjust your equation for the double standard that is applied to Rodgers.

Dont ask for Rodgers to be out. Would be a worse shame when they beat us using a local HS drop out who played QB in pee wee.
If you want Nagy fired, which I do, then this is exactly what needs to happen.

Man, seeing the future is a terrible thing.
