game will feature 9 combined turnovers and 31 combined penalties ... every offensive drive in OT will result in 3 and outs except for the last one where Seattle tries 2 hail mary passes from their own 40 yard line, neither of which comes close to be completed

I think we win this one... Seattle doesn't look like their usual selves, and it seems like they are having their own COVID issues.
Defense plays well, Monty runs hard, Horsted gets another TD and @IE weeps tears of joy!
Bears - 24
Seahawks - 17
YES!
Russ doesn't look good, does he? Is he falling off a cliff quickly, or is it just a temporary thing?
2023 Chicago Bears... emerging from a long hibernation, and hungry!
Fields is going to have a signature game this year. I've been calling for it for several weeks, but THIS is the week it happens. All those other predictions were just jokes.
Fields has a completion rate over 75% (our WR remember how to catch this week and don't throw in 6 drop passes) for in excess of 300 yards with 3 TDs.
Couple this with the defense picking up were they left off last week and the doors to Club Dub are opened again (although we can debate if a team that is 5-10 should open those doors again).

I don't think he's falling off, but he doesn't seem to have the burst he used to have. His accuracy is inconsistent too...but he has that bad finger on his throwing hand that is almost certainly going to need surgery in the offseason.
It could be that his heart just isn't in this current iteration of the team.
The Bears secondary play while good against the Vikes, will shift back to normal. DK Metcalf is able to breakout and there is no one to stop him. The Bears are what Wilson needs to get right.
The Bears O is the Bears O = stupid penalties, dumb plays, inconsistent as usual.
I've got a $75 bottle of whiskey on this game, so we better show up. Seattle's OL is a disaster. Worse than ours. I think our defense gets after Russell and the young pimps in the secondary pick him at least once. Teven Jenkins shows up for his 2nd start and displays more signs of why he's a legitimate franchise LT. Monty has a good day. Fields throws for 2TD's and 1 INT. It's the last win of the season for the Bears.

To me it’s a constant reminder that the team surrounding the player matters so much. Russ didn’t forget how to play football overnight, but this year has been brutal anyways and his injury certainly plays a part. It gives me hope that our own struggles may be a few players and a coaching change away from a dramatic turnaround.

As for this game:
Seattle 28
Bears 17
I think the Finger is probably the main issue on Russ this year IMHO. I have always been relatively low on Russ - but he isn't this bad either
That and - whenever Seattle was playing their best - they actually limited Russ's role - They let the Running Game be the key. The more they ask Russ to do - generally the worse the results (Granted there was a burst of like 4-5 games last year where that was NOT true - and they let "Russ cook" and it was awesome - but that came back down to earth after that stretch - As easily explained as Defenses adjusting to 3-4 games of Film)

I gotta say, I'm glad they didn't take the trade that pace offered. I'd much rather have fields and a few years of lumps than Russell, his contract and no hope for the future.
Foles to start and Ryan Willis most likely will back him up.
Willis was only signed to the practice squad on Saturday 18th December. Fields may be an emergency option if Willis doesn't have a firm enough grasp on the playbook, but given the stupidity of risking his and the team's future by playing him at all if his ankle is not good to go would be too much surely even for lame duck Nagy.
