Mike Glennon:
11 attempts, 4 completions, 24 yards, 2 INT... 0.0 passer rating.
Oh, and 4 fumbles with 2 lost.
And we once paid this guy $18m! I don't know whether to or .

It amazes me that any team is willing to pay him to play professional football.HisRoyalSweetness wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 4:21 pm Mike Glennon:

It was a way to get Kmet a TD. Nagy and Kmet were laughing after the play. He was wide open, but Monty just missed him.The Marshall Plan wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 3:58 pm Even when we win I hate Nagy.
WTF was with the Wildcat play and Monty throwing a pick?

I was thinking the same thing when he didn't even attempt to cross the defender's face to go for the ball that ended up being intercepted. He knows better than that. And he was non-existant prior to that play. Was good to see him show a little fight after that though.

An extra shoutout for Robert Quinn, who not only broke Richard Dent's franchise record for most sacks in a season but in doing so also joined the 100 career sacks club.

Can't understand with Barkley gashing us in runs,,(over 100 yds)..why keep that lame Giraffe in all game ? Take anyone out of the stands and probably do better..

Or just don't stop running it. They were reasonably successful that way.

It was a fun play. It’s not like the Bears were only up by 1 or something.Mikefive wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 4:29 pmIt was a way to get Kmet a TD. Nagy and Kmet were laughing after the play. Nagy calling a timeout so the fans and team could celebrate with Quinn was a classy move too.
I’m over Nagy, but I’m not gonna shit on him after this game.

Agreed. First time this season the Bears were up by over 14 points at the end of a game, and giving Monty a little "fun" is OK. Plus, if you're going to run the wildcat a few times a game then having a threat of throwing the ball helps over the long term.
San Francisco has always been my favorite booing city. I don't mean the people boo louder or longer, but there is a very special intimacy. Music, that's what it is to me. One time in Kezar Stadium they gave me a standing boo.

At least opposing defenses might consider Fields to carry some threat as a receiver out wide. The Giants ran the wildcat against the Bears with Mike Glennon!

They still have to account for that player - even if its not their best defender or primary focus.
If you leave the QB - even Mike Glennon - absolutely uncovered - that is a win for the Offense

They split Glennon out wide on a wildcat play yesterday, JJ went out there to cover him and I was yelling "just leave him out there he's not getting the ball". I would have loved to have seen Glennon in the open field trying to get YAC though lmao

and why does everything have to be a damn argumentative negative approach from you?

This was more to the overall anti-Nagy stuff here than to you specifically. If that helps at all
The Board could use a bit more subtly in opinions. Not everything is the best or the worst. Not every outrage warrants an 11.

Nice to see the Bears beat up on the Giants. Once the two quick turnovers led to points it's clear the Giants had no real plan (or much hope) for how to proceed.
Mike Glennon might be the worst football player I've ever seen take a professional field. How is this guy still in the league? He must just dazzle on the practice field and in interviews.

yes it does help ... I thought since you quoted me in your response that your response was directed to me rather than an overall response

And for the same reason, neither has Artbest. If either needed a prediction in this game to qualify for my contest I would go back and give them whichever prediction scored worst, but as both are already qualified they're not going to be counted with a prediction.

I can’t work out if a low score is better than a high score.
I know my predictions are not hitting the mark though which is very strange

You're right. Participation fell off immediately after game 1 against the Rams which had 52 predictions, but the Giants game was the first with less than 30 and that was only because I couldn't count the predictions from Artbest and wab.HisRoyalSweetness wrote: ↑Fri Jan 07, 2022 7:09 pm These lists definitely seem to be getting shorter...
It's always been like this, though. In 2017, the first year I did this (and with no monetary prize at the end) there were 24 predictions for the first game and only 8 for the last. Only three people made predictions for every game.
