best game of the final week happened in Las Vegas last night ... ended in OT on a last second FG

I'm thinking if the Chargers hadn't called a timeout with 38 seconds left the Raiders may have simply run out the clock and both would have gone to the playoffs

if you didn't see the game you really missed out ... 2 teams fighting like dogs til the bitter end ... a credit to both teams

It was a good game. They both played incredibly hard.

An amazing game -- especially since it was the last game of the regular season. There was some talk of the teams "playing for a tie" since they'd both make the playoffs but that wasn't the case.

They were fighting like mad out there. You often hear about athletes "leaving everything on the field" -- that's EXACTLY what both teams did last night.

Perfect example of why we all love football.

Didn’t watch until the 4th on, but great game.

FWIW Charlie Weiss was on Sirius and said a Raider told Eckler they were just going to run it out and take the tie until the time out by Chargers.

Fell asleep at 32-32, woke up to see the winning FG. 3 great games yesterday: Balt-Pitt, SF-LA, and this one. The SF game showed a gritty, well coached team overcome a massive lead and win in OT. SF runs physically, Garopolo was on, and the D ate Stafford's lunch in the 2nd half. Pretty much the opposite of Bears teams.

Yes the SF v LA game was a great game as well. Showed a coach who didn't shy away from the run game just because he was down 17-3. Showed how the run game can keep you in the game and lead to a W. Nagy should have watched.

Thought it was interesting when they were talking about Lynch and Shanahan's mojo for drafting/signing RBs. They said they want RBs who can find the hole. What they have after that is a plus. They have been using all kinds of RBs and Samuel as well and still getting it done. Loved it.

Glad the Raiders went for the W. I would have been pissed if they would have let the clock run out.

I put this in another thread. I like the Shanahan coaching tree much more than that of Reid and Bellichick. I think the guys from it run more balanced offenses.
