This is My Guy for the GM job.

Joe Hortiz the current Director Of College Scouting for the Baltimore Ravens.

Qualifications:

1) 19 years with the Ravens working his way up from scout.
2) Baltimore is a team, with the exception of a couple years, that is always competitive. Yes there are a variety of reasons for that, but the guy scouting out the draft picks has to play a huge part.
3) I'm really hoping that Hortiz is a Hispanic last name so that the Diversity Officer is pleased. Everybody wins with this hire I guess.
4) Being with the Ravens he also worked with Ozzie Newsome a lot.

I can't find his age, but I'm guessing just shy of 50. I doubt he qualifies as minority because that's never mentioned and (as you pointed out) it can be significant. The only thing that troubles me is that, like Pace, he only has experience with one team.

Looks like Sports Mockery had a similar take in November:

Mods, can we separate subjects to differentiate confirmed candidates verse wish list or speculative ones?

Make it a clean sweep, let him be hired and bring in Greg Roman.

Even with the short format of these opening interviews, this is gonna take a while, jeez.

But I did the damn mock press conference without a drop of soup on my tie. Plus I found all the damn Y's too.

Oh well, being the HH greeter has its perks too.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Caleb, and Hell followed with him.

The dream can still become a reality.

We need an HC too!
