I always pick a few pet teams to root for. Besides the obvious “whoever is playing the Packers”, who are you rooting for? And for the Week 1 contests, who you calling to win?

Teams I’ll root for: Bengals, Bills, Eagles, Niners, and surprisingly Dallas (i like Dak and Moore and they are fun to watch).

How I call em Week 1:

Bengals over Raiders
Bills over Pats
Bucs over Eagles
Dallas over 49ers
Chiefs over Steelers
Cardinals over Rams

I like the 49ers to pull the upset. If the Eagles get their running game working and keep the ball away from Brady, I can see an upset.

Who I will root for:
Bengals (lovable underdogs posing as favorites)
Bills (too many reasons to list)
Eagles (for the guy in my office who says he pulls for the Bears)
Dallas (here I'd prefer if neither team won)
Steelers (for a friend, also tired of hearing about Mahomes)
Cardinals (they have been wandering in the desert long enough)

Who I think will win:
Bengals
Bills
Bucs
Dallas
KC
LA

Quietly rooting for Bills and Steelers.

Against:

Pickers - of course.

Chefs - Reid begat Nagy.

Boys - because JerryJones & McArther.

Roiders - asshole fans.

IDK I'm in deep shit today.

Liverpool plays at like 9am local time I think.
The GOAT is on at noon.
I'm making homemade meatloaf for dinner.
My lower back hurts because my deadlift form on Thursday was shit, but I need to deadlift again today.
49'ers Cowboys is must see TV. Old school rivalry.
I just can't do the Chiefs game. My wife and I started watching Station Eleven.

That Bucs game is a real nail biter huh?

Don't fuck with The GOAT.

That and the defense. Not sure why Philly would play around with the RPO against the #3 run defense who also uses man coverage. Not going to create much of anything there.

Robbie Gould just hit a 53 yard FG on the road in Dallas.

Good thing we had that shit for brains Pace minding the store to tell us Gould was washed up.

If only Gould drove a Camry, maybe this whole thing could've been avoided.

Edit: Gould is now 3/3 with two of them over 50 yards.

Id love to see the GOAT win another one. And a team that hasnt made it before or made it in awhile make a run on the AFC side. No real preference to who that is.

McCarthy channeled his inner Nagy.
At the end, both coaches did their best to lose it but the 49er's couldn't quite get it done.
Here's hoping for a quick exit for the only team that could drive me to root for the Cowboys

Truly love 49ers over the 'Boys, I detest them almost as much as the Viqueens. If they beat the Pack next week, and they only lost at the last second when they played earlier in the season, it would be Xmas in January. We've seen the last of Big Ben, what a career. Too bad we didn't hire Arians, who had a lot to do with his development. I like the Rams but the Cards more; I hope they win tonite.

Some boring ass games over the weekend. I believe having that 7th team is a failure. They have only performed in one of the four games the past 2 yrs.

KC - 42 v Pitt - 21

TB - 31 v Philly - 15 and it wasn't that close.

2020

Bears - 9 v Saints - 21 ( and we know that game wasn't close)

Bills - 27 v Colts - 24 (Colts legit playoff team at 11-5)

I think the expirement is failing.

Cowboys played some dumb football yesterday. 14 penalties, some dumb calls, they deserved to lose.

Fun fact (and probably the kiss of death): Robbie Gould has never missed a kick in the playoffs.

He's been in the playoffs 6 times with 3 different teams, the Bears, Giants and 49ers, and played 11 games making all 18 FGs and all 31 XPs. That includes 3 FGs of 50+ yards and 11 FGs of 40+ yards, so it's not like he's just made chip shots either.

That's some record.

I think Pace should introduce him at his HOF induction

Gould would've been a good guy to have around in the Eagles game then.

Instead Pace gives us Doink The Clown.

I was kinda rooting for the Cowboys so I wouldn't have to hear everyone within a 90 mile radius complain today. But alas. Here we are.

I guess I'm going to root for whoever wins the Titans/Bengals game to win the whole thing. I wouldn't hate seeing the Cardinals in the super bowl either, but I feel like Brady is going to win another.

For me, it's more teams I'd like not to see in the Super Bowl rather than those I would, so...

1. No Packers (Obviously.)
2. No Patriots (Yay, one down! They've enjoyed too much success for too long.)
3. No Buccaneers (Won last year and I've had enough of Brady winning.)
4. No Chiefs (Played in the last two and it's just a constant reminder of missing out on Mahomes.)

The two teams I want to NOT make it we’re the cowboys and Pukers. 49ers have always been my second favorite team. They took out the cowboys this week and have a chance to send Erin home this week.

Come on 9ers!!!!!!

I like Burrow but I kind of wanted the Raiders to win and thought they would. They're scrappy. I really like Carr and Renfro. Oh well.

Chiefs are my team now. I also like the Bills so if they come away the winner they're my team. Bills fans sort of deserve a ring, I think.

That performance against the Pats was beautiful.

I hope they can continue that and haven’t peaked too early.

Rooting for the Cards tonight. I just like Kyler Murray.

The GOAT is my Luke Skywalker. He's the last realistic hope of keeping the Puke out of the Super Bowl.

i'd like the packers to lose in the nfc championship and the afc to win the title. i've rooted for the bills and chiefs since the nineties. so either one is good. maybe its time for the bills to get one.
