I can remember before the season started. Some fans were predicting 1,000 yds rushing and 500 yds receiving from Forte.
I thought it was pretty realistic and then saw that Neal Anderson was the last BEARS RB to put up those numbers and better.
Now I see Forte has 777 yds rushing and 322 yds receiving. The number 1500 looks very realistic at this point in time. I look for Matt to have a good game on Sunday as the BEARS defeat the lowly Rams.

You know anymore 1000 yd season isn't shit. That is only 62 yds a game, big deal. I think since the schedule jumped up to 16 games, 12oo yd season is what should be looked at.

I don't know if I see him getting 1500, I hope so but think the O line is gonna start tiring and breaking down.

You're right getting a thousand isn't jack but my point is getting a total of 1500 combined is ! Especially when no BEARS player has done it in close to 20 yrs.

To top it off the kids a rookie and he'll get the 1500 if not injured.

1500 combined yds, rookie or veteran is an impressive achievement.

If the o-line can hold up, I could see this happening.

Just wait until next year when we have Boldin here taking attention away from Forte.

Just the thought of that makes me go from Six to Noon.

I see Forte at 1500 combined easily. I thought you were talking just 1500 rushing, couldn't see that.

I like his versatility and he is only going to get better. Just think what he would do if we had half of a good line.

Thats the problem Otis- the Bears only have half of a good line. Considering what we thought we had at the start of the season, we're one half to the good.

Agreed, Forte will get better and better- at some point they're going to take this offense seriously and start to add some real parts.
