With Free Agency approaching in less than 8 hours, I thought I would put together a reasonable list of Free Agents that the team should look at (at least from this fan's perspective).

Basically I think you will see two or three middle of the road offensive signings and one good defensive signing.

I'm not syaing we sign all these guys, all I am saying is we should consider them.

Offense:
Ephraim Salaam, OT
Kwame Harris, OT
Drew Bennett, WR
Mike Furrey, WR
Kendall Simmons, OG

Defense:
Eugene Wilson, FS
Will Demps, FS
Yerimiah Bell, SS
Leigh Bodden. CB
Shaun Cody, DT

EDIT...scratch Bell. I see he just signed a deal to stay in Miami....

I almost promise you that Furrey will end up a Bear. I just have a weird feeling that he'll get signed. Not sure on Bennett. I wouldn't mind seeing Demps brought in.

I'm hesitant on Drew Bennett. Seeing how he's only started 2 games in the last two years.

Eugene Wilson is off the board, just resigned with Houston.

Inside the NFL had a Top 25 Free Agents list ... from that list, my Top 5 wish list from those 25 would consist of:

3. T.J. Houshmandzadeh, WR, Bengals

4. Bart Scott, ILB, Ravens

8. Khalif Barnes, OT, Jaguars

20. Tra Thomas, OT, Eagles

25. Jeff Saturday, C, Colts

Saturday has already resigned with the Colts and Scott has all but officially signed with the Jets.

Sorry to burst your bubble.

At least Housh-ma-nilly is still available (though I'm not holding my breath.)

And TJ already said himself that a solid starting QB was a must for him to sign with a new team, so scratch his name as well.

yeah ... I'm betting TJ Whose-your-momma signs with the Colts

I still have hope they make a run at the Jaguar OT Khalif Barnes, but they may already be satisfied with signing the Carolina benchwarmer Omiyale rather than a ready to play starter :frustrated:

It would appear Angelo is warming his hands with his ass.
