Marlins minor league team renamed to New Orleans Baby Cakes
The New Orleans Zephyrs, the Miami Marlins Triple A affiliate, has officially renamed the team to the New Orleans Baby Cakes.

Along with a new team name, the Baby Cakes will also have new team colors and a mascot.

The Zephyrs name had been around since 1993.

Saw this on twitter. I mean...it's FUN, I'll give it that, and honestly it's more interesting. Minor league sports are supposed to be silly. It's just a bit weak that the players, grown men, will have to wear this and try to be cool.
