Cubs to launch Marquee Network in 2020

Well, here it comes. The Cubs own network. Looking forward to seeing how it plays out. If it ends up being like the Yankees or the Dodgers, it's going to bring a BOATLOAD of cash to the organization.

I'm not terribly enthused. I think this move is a woeful mistake considering that in the next 10-15 years, cable subscriptions are going to die off. If Marquee wants to survive, they need to offer a non-blackout-impacted subscription-based streaming service. Otherwise it's destined to fail.
